mensanguy Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 A PINK TC??? 1990 Chrysler TC Maserati | eBay 1990 Chrysler TC Maserati | eBay
Mark_Blodgett Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Think it could be an old Mary Kay car, ? 1
ghostymosty Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Could be Mary Kay, right shade of pink. At the auction I work at (til next monday) all pink Mary Kay Cadillacs are required to be repainted white before they can be put in a sale. This one has lots of pink overspray on the wiper area and a black engine compartment and tonneau but a white hardtop so any claims of original paint for rarity can just be thrown out the window.
Kevinflys Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 My 14 year old daughter likes it...so there's that going for it. 😁
Reaper1 Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Barbie Girl popped in my head as soon as I looked at it! LOL
Hemi Dude Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Anyone remember 'Psycho' the 1960 movie where Norman Bates pushes he's victims automobiles into the swamp? We need a remake with the painter of this vehicle as the victim and the same ending for 'Pinki' into the swamp.
Does185 Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 I have always liked some of the unique Mopar colors, like Panther Pink FM3 from 1970. And Furious Fuschia. But this pale pink on a TC upsets my stomach. Need to take some Pepto Bismol !

The high impact colors had to be ordered so what does that tell you. Definitely a chick car.
Hemi Dude Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 It certainly was NOT an option of any kind on Chrysler's TC by Maserati.
Moparite Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 And that's good thing, Never could understand why Chrysler even came out with panther pink.
ghostymosty Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 I can remember 'HOT PINK' being quite the thing around the late 60's and very early 70's. Not quite so much in cars, though.
Garnet & Gold Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 The hot pink cars were popular in the late 50's with a second color of black or gray. The 56 Ford was popular and then there was the 1957 Desoto Fireflite convertible which sold today at Mecum for $100,000.
Garnet & Gold Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 P.S. A 1991 triple black sold for $8,500 with just over 12k miles. 1
mensanguy Posted January 10, 2021 Author Posted January 10, 2021 Well, to add to the mess, it just sold for $2500!!
mensanguy Posted January 10, 2021 Author Posted January 10, 2021 ....and here's the video..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4op2SZUkTw&feature=youtu.be

Nile Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 That "winning" bid doesn't vibrate right to me. No one who's into TC's would bid that much for that car given the color, miles, wheels, seats, etc. I also doubt someone not into TC's would open an Ebay auction that high on that car. It's located in Montana and it's winter. Lots of times people have a buddy open bidding on a "No Reserve" auction to get other bidders into the bidding process. They can claim it's sold, but it really isn't. I bet we'll see it again. 1

Lots of them get out without being painted though, I owned a Mary Kay Allante for years
Nile Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Currently on Copart is this TC which actually looks worse than the pink one.
