Peerless in Ohio snow.  Imagine if there were vintage car tours in the winter nowadays.

Although the snow's a little deep, this photo reminds me of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life"

Great photo of the custom body with side mount and locking down spare. Must be on its way to a certain luxury car club classification committee for approval to qualify for tours and grunt classic car shows.................

Doodlebug Grandma.jpg

That's a spitting image of my grandma Merna!

I'm still doing double takes..

Nah.. surely that can't be, can it?

Edit:
Just showed the photo to my wife of 40+ years and asked her "do you know who this is?"

Her immediate response "Your grandma Merna" as she turned and walked away fully confident she got it right.

Do you know where this photo was taken or where you found the photo?

One of her family members had a small hobby farm outside of Atchison KS on the Missourah side

(I know it's spelled MissourEE for all the grammar nazis out there, but that's not the correct pronounciation ;) ).

@Dave Mellor NJ please PM me if you know where you found this or what year it was taken.

@A Woolf

Ive never heard of a Moyer. Thanks for sharing. They’re sharp

There are only a handful that still exist but I don't know the number.   The cars in the photos are big six cylinder cars.  They are about the same size as a 48hp Pierce Arrow.  The car in the photo is one of the existing cars.

American Underslung Racecar.  These cars were factory built and were available as part of the American Underslung lineup.

Would you or anyone else know if any of these are still in existence? Thanks for sharing the pic

A little something for Ron Hausman....1923 Kissel....

1923 Kissel.jpg

Yup. You get an “A”.

It actually Is a 1923, not a 1922 or 1924. It has 1923 cowl lights used one year only.

None of the racecars have survived.

Neat big brass era 7 seat touring car A Woolf, I wonder what the panel is on the rear door at the top edge is?

Looks like a jump seat that is turned sideways.

British built Ford Model Y in Denmark

Pretty certain it is actually a Morris 8. Notice flat-sided fenders, less significant louvres. (They do look almost exactly alike though!)

He's referring to the reveal panel, where you might find a monogram or caning.
