  1. Hello. I am bumping this thread as I have found some of the parts I need, but not all. Here is an amended list: 1. Rear quarter window mechanisms & frames. 2. Passenger side taillight bracket. (A forum user was reproducing them about 7 years ago, I haven’t heard back.) 3. Running board & fender trim. 4. Instrument light switch. 5. Cigar lighter. Listed above is everything I need. I am thinking of working out a passenger side taillight bracket myself. Cigar lighter is pretty much universal. Thanks!
  2. Thanks! I’ll look into it. The fan in the second photo was revulcanized by a company in California. I’m not sure if they usually handle engine mounts though.
  3. Yes. I don't know why these photos aren't aligned correctly. This first photo is upside down, but this is where the transmission mounts to a crossmember. This second photo is tipped to the right. But, just below the water pump pulley, there is a rubber mount there. I believe it is vulcanized to a small frame which is then bolted to a larger frame that holds the front of the engine up. I am pretty certain that there is at least one more, what with "floating power." I will have to check later.
  4. Hello everyone. I recall asking this question in the past, but is anybody aware of a source for engine mounts for a 1934 Chrysler Airflow CU? I remember Then & Now Automotive, but I would like to familiarize myself with companies that are capable of doing such work. Thanks!
  5. Hello everyone! I just took the wiring harness out of my Chrysler Airflow, but I have met a strange realization. I am pretty certain the wiring has never been out of the car, and on closer inspection, all the wiring is white, but with colored lacing on different wires indicating their use. Is this correct? On the wiring diagram it says simply “red,” “blue,” “yellow,” etc. Thanks!
  6. Oh! My mistake. You are correct. The car never had a separate voltage regulator as it has now, there isn’t one in the wiring diagram. 1934 is too early.
  7. I wasn’t expecting all this! Anyway, I do mean that it had a 12 volt generator installed when I got the car. I replaced it with a 6 volt generator off eBay. I believe it is for a later Chrysler, maybe a 1937 or ‘38 as per the eBay description. To be honest, I do know I can just look through the back of the generator. But it’s kind of tricky to get off. Thanks for the help! P.S. I do want to convert it back to 6 volt positive ground. Someone tried a 12 volt conversion, and it was not a pretty sight. I’m busying myself with replacing all of the wiring at this point.
  8. Thanks a million! That’s the answer I was looking for.
  9. Oops! Photo is upside down. Just use your imagination.
  10. Hi everyone. Before I go any further, I should note that I do know that the generator that came with this car was originally a 2 brush. BUT, I recently replaced the 12 volt generator the car came with with some Chrysler generator off eBay. I wonder if anybody knows whether this generator is 2 or 3 brush. Here are the numbers: Auto Lite GEP 4801 11B. Thanks in advance!
  11. It’s not really a technical question, which is why I didn’t post this there.
  12. Hi everyone. I figured it might be best to post this question in a place where it might get the most attention. Anyway, as might be inferred by the title of this post, my rockers need a good repair. They rusted out from the bottom up, and I wonder if anybody else has repaired rockers on an Airflow. Photos would be greatly appreciated! I would like to know the process of making new ones, as they aren’t just a curved piece of steel. Thanks!
  13. That’s alright, at least now I know it’s a specific part. Thanks!
  14. Hello everyone. I am working on a 1934 Chrysler Airflow and I’m sourcing parts as I go. One thing that I will need eventually is a fabric for the interior. I do have a suitable sample, see photo below. The only problem is that the seats are all bad. I was wondering if someone has restored a 1934 Chrysler Airflow recently, that may be able to provide a decent replacement fabric that is close to original. Thanks!
  15. Hello everyone. I’m looking for a water pump for a 1934 Airflow CU. I am pretty certain that the water pumps are the same across the entirety of the Chrysler Airflow line, but they are not the same for later Chrysler eights, or earlier Chrysler eights. (Water pumps might be the same for DeSoto, I’m not certain.) Pictures would be most helpful. Cheers!
