kgreen
Found this add on Craigslist. https://redding.craigslist.org/cto/d/vintage-1941-buick-special/6667630185.html Reported 1970's era restoration, not totally authentic but the car looks like it is all there. Highly recommend that potential purchaser become familiar with this model and look at the car in person before making any purchase decision. I agree Ken, somethin's fishy here, James Dean died in a car crash back in 1955.
auburnseeker
It's got to be a deal though, It took a trophy at a car show 15 years ago. That means it's perfect right? That steering wheel looks really out of place.

The 44C used the Chevy body.
auburnseeker
I don''t think i have ever seen another convertible with the standard wheel. Maybe a special sedan but in a rag top I would have expected a deluxe wheel.

ALL Buicks are Roadmasters, except the Deuce and a Quarters. A car salesman and an auctioneer both told me.

kingrudy
I happened to see this car when I attended the Cool April Nights car show in Redding three years ago. As I remember it does show a bit of wear on an older restoration, but there should be no rust as it is very dry in that area. I agree with Ken that if someone were to think about buying, you have to see this in person.
