Steve_Mack_CT
Yep welcome Pomeroy! AACA is the one club I have been consistent with for almost 15 years, still a newbie but would not drop. The Antique Automobile is worth the price alone if you never do anything more with the club.
West Peterson
National meets in the Central Division next year include Kansas City, Missouri and Auburn, Indiana. Both are in the Spring.
Steve Moskowitz
Thank you very much! We appreciate the support and it helps me keep my job! Seriously, we need the support of everyone despite the fact we do a ton for the hobby for free. Hopefully more people will follow your lead. Please remember that you now have free admittance to the AACA Museum and you have limited free research by our library staff. Consider joining a local region if there is one nearby. A great gift suggestion for others that don't know what to buy for friends, associates and relatives. They will thank you all year long !Welcome aboard and take advantage of the tremendous expertise available at your finger tips !wayne

uh6077
I was thinking about joining a few months ago but I was under the impression that the membership goes from Jan-Dec and is not pro-rated. If I join now they would charge $35 and then I would owe $35 again next month which would cover the whole year. Am I wrong?
West Peterson
If you join now, you would be a member for 2015.
rocketraider
Good move. I did the annual renewal thing for about ten years and finally decided a Life Membership was the way to go. Even if a time comes when I have no old cars I will always love them, and the Antique Automobile magazine is worth every penny of your membership. Brass is Best
Welcome! The Auburn meet is a great meet. Be sure to visit all the great museums while in Auburn. If you can make the time in October don't forget about Hershey.
Marty Roth
If you pay for membership in October, November, or December, you are paid through the following year.Your membership also includes your spouse, and lifetime membership extends to the spouse as well. My wife could still be judging and driving AACA Tours long after I'm beyond restoration. junkyardjeff
I am still thinking about joining but all my old vehicles are not the way they came from the factory so I do not think I would be very welcome,I am beginning to rethink my decision on joining the VCCA so its probably better to wait awhile until I do get a all original vehicle. uh6077
I don't think having a non original car prevents you from joining. Heck I bet many of the members do not even own a antique car, they just enjoy the hobby. You might be eligible to compete for awards but in reality probably 1% of the members own a car that is capable of winning a major award. The rest likely own cars like mine, just nice drivers that the enjoy driving and bringing back to life.
junkyardjeff
If I give up the VCCA when my membership expires I will join,I have to give up one to join another since living is getting very expensive and not much money left to have fun after the bills are paid. 39BuickEight
The magazine is always fantastic. Beautiful photography and great writing.
West Peterson
Magazine should be in your mail box around the middle of the month, every other month (starting with January). Your individual mail carrier determines exactly when he decides to take 2nd class mail to their owners. If yours arrives much later than the middle of the month, talk to your local post office and let them know that your 2nd class mail is taking way to long to arrive. Each issue is printed with the day in which it left the post office in St. Joe, Michigan, so you can monitor how long it takes.
Pomeroy41144
Would I also be getting a membership number (or card)? None of that kind of stuff has come yet. Thanks for the info West Peterson.
West Peterson
You will also receive membership card w/number. That will come under separate letter. This time of year, the office staff is quite inundated with renewals and new memberships, so the card may be in the mail soon.
Marty Roth
Welcome to AACA. The more you get involved the more you will come across some of the most helpful, informed and helpful people in the old car universe.
Pomeroy41144
Got my magazine yesterday. I have read most of it already. Looks good. I love old cars, especially bone stock. Looks like my kind of place.
