  1. Hi, You asked for it. Here it is: Folks have ID it as a '31 Model A. Most likely the photo taken in 1953 or '54. In our side yard under the apple tree. $15.00 and, if I remember, free delivery. Frame included. The body followed me to school where I put it together with a '32 Ford frame and 6 wheels and sold the package for $50.00
  2. My Chrysler and the wife's Corvair both get shell Rotella Much cheaper than an engine rebuild.
  3. Thanks for the post. A similar model. was recently sent to auction from here. Is it a normal, or "SC" designation? It's the same year as the 356 Speedster that I sold in '64 and wish I had kept.
  4. Time to get the '26 Chrysler out. It started up pronto and we went for a short ride. Then felt lucky and the "curb find" lawnmower started on the third pull, so the grass got the first trim on the year.
  5. I have a confession to make: I removed a sparkplug from a scrapped Moon block: Packard script. Realized it belonged in my connection, not to the Moon collectors.
  6. And... there are the Robertson fasteners, as one who has a Model T Ford made in Canada has discovered. Wickipedia will tell you all that you need to know about them. Driver bits are available at Lowes
  7. Yes, I don't know where my original button that was produced by Dave Devine is now, so I created a replica. Does anyone remember the Friday lunches on the upper floor of the King George pub across the street? Still conniving to make it this year. First year was 1980.
  8. Skinned Knuckles was a better deal. So sad to see him go.
  9. My Dad, Earle Marshall Boudway and Grandfather, Charles Augusus Rich worked at Bath Iron works, Bath Maine. during WWII. There they helped produce and launched a destroyer every 17 days. A total of 83 were built for WWII
  10. Hi Folks, Yes, Walt. It doesn't have the old kick. We experiment from time to time and agree that the ingredient that the Feds made them take out changed the traditional taste. The best that we have done to correct this is to add a shot of Jagermeister to each serving. Please let us know if you agree that with that. Bill B.
  11. Breaking News! Moxie tasting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, October, 4:00PM at space # C2I-44 in the Chocolate Field. Originally held on Thursday.
  12. hi, Try these folks: www.northstarautoelectric.com Located in Macedon, NY Members on the local region have used them with good results. Good luck.
  13. Hi, Thanks for posting this. Quick question: No new flap?
  14. Right on, Dennis. Yes, the rim spreader shown is for a different type of rim. Be sure to wrap the tire and rim with safety straps or chain, as Dennis warned. I have a stupid brother-in-law who changed a truck tire outside of a cage. The lock ring game off when he inflated the tire. Broke both arms, and coller bone. Hard way to learn. Good luck, and please send a photo.
  15. Good Morning Here's a photo of our Model G Hercules . We use it to change tires on our Model G Chrysler, 1926 Phaeton
  16. Contact Rob Burchill to see if he can help. hattiesgarage@comcast.net or prburch@aol.com
  17. Hi, We have a 1926 Chrysler that has 20" split rims. We use a Universal Rim Tool to spread the rim to get the tire off. I remember a post on this forum that had a copy of the instructions for using it. I'll take a photo and post it here.
  18. Ferrari. RHD race car. Pushed to the traction limit in comepition.
  19. Is this at the location of the former (?) location of the Otis Chandler museum?
  20. I haven't been getting the reminders. What does that tell me? 😒.
  21. Photo from my first Pebble Beach rodeo. 1973. $5.00 admission. Photo of Phil And Almas Packard Model 30
  22. You should use 600 weight steam cylinder oil. A product of Mobil. Check with your local lubricant distributor. I have some left in a 5-gallon pail that I can provide.
