Another good supplier bites the dust - USA Parts
mobileparts replied to Restorer32's topic in General Discussion
They "outsourced" 99 % of everything... The "stock" in there is the worthless left overs of deals... The lawyers want a MINIMUM BID of $ 640,000 ?!?! They won't get one bid for half of that, and won't settle for half of that.... A great business opportunity, you say... only if you want to LOSE $ 640,000..... Gooooooood Luck..... The next step is ...... -

Hopefully, Bob will get God's Love -- now -- and I (unknowingly) helped !! Yours , Craig.... -

Convert 1957 Pontiac to electric wipers
mobileparts replied to bill pritchett's topic in Pontiac & Oakland
If you are going to do that, with an electrical wipers kit (see Street Rod and Hot Rod magazines -- those cars do that all the time), I have the correct With Electric Wipers FUEL PUMP (single action, of course...) Always best to simply call me --- 516 - 485 - 1935..... Craig.... -
Leave it the way it is... Any other way, you are begging for trouble, going to spend a lot of money, with very little "upgrade"... When you are going to use the car as a taxicab in New York City, you will have to make some changes.... In the meantime, that is a nice car, drive it and enjoy it.....

48 Chrysler brake lines and master cylinder.
mobileparts replied to R Walling's topic in General Discussion
"Now to the easy parts -- the rear"..... --- IF --- you have the correct rear brake hub and drum puller..... You never called me, Roger, so I imagine you went with the Chineseum reproductions parts.... Wouldn't have cost much more to go with my U.S.A. made parts -- and have piece of mind when you STOP..... -
A 1937 Buick is a very stately automobile.... Enjoy it...
-
They are acceptable quality, nothing special, to be honest.... better than Chineseum and the garbage of today, for sure... Those out of business brands are what I use as my ECONOMY priced items --- where I have absolutely Top Notch Quality for everything !!!!! Post pictures --- I will tell you instantly what they are --- I know EVERY set of points from the 1930s to the end of points in the 1970s by looking at them --- and can tell you what they are in 3/10ths of a second... (It will take me longer to type it out and tell you !!!!) Yours, Craig.....
