I met Mr. Lamar Earl, our moderator, today at HERSHEY... I thought he was a Great Guy, and got proven correct !!! It is indeed special to talk face to face with those we only have a distant relationship with on these forums. Getting to talk in person is like putting the pieces of a puzzle together, and seeing it to completion. That is part of what makes events like Fall Carlisle and HERSHEY so extra special !!! For those who don't make it a regular event --- Your life will be so much better by joining us next year.... At Fall Carlisle, there are 482 cheapie tool dealers.... Harbor Freight emporium ..... At HERSHEY, signs of every sort, have replaced CAR PARTS (Not me --- I am 100 % Antique Automotive Car Parts...) But signs, they are Everywhere..... and they are not shy about their prices... $ 450 for this, $ 750 for that, the bigger and older the sign, $ 3000 for this, $ 5000 for that.... (And they pick up my $ 10 tranny mounts, play with them , don't ask the price, and walk away...)

Gray skies all week so far, Friday to be a repeat... Dry, Dry, Dry !!! 70° all three (3) days, so far, 60 ° all three (3) nights... Truthfully, I think we can all agree, these two (2) weeks at Fall Carlisle and HERSHEY have been better than any year EVER weather wise.... Wish we could have had our foreigners --- Tomas from Sweden was the ONLY Swede here --- and I serviced Nazeem from Israel today.... That was 2 of 30,000.... (Certainly affected sales in a serious negative fashion --- oh, well.... we move on...) Yours, Craig....

Bill Miller of Carlisle fame tooting around in a non - Carlisle Events golf cart -- so he could stay "incognito" and simply enjoy the show... He and I always talk when He sees me, so we chatted for 10 minutes, before he headed onward. (He has plenty of my parts in his cars, and has my number on speed dial...) Don't know if he is officially famous, but he is an asset to this hobby, for sure.... Did see Larry Holmes (of Heavyweight boxing fame) here at HERSHEY a few years ago....

MarkV, I do mechanical parts only, so I can help you with two (2) items on your list --- the Voltage Regulator and Horn Relay --- U.S.A. made --- 1940 Studebaker utilized a Delco system and an Autolite system --- I have Voltage Regulators for both....
