1977 New Yorker 2 door $6,500 73,000 miles
STEVE POLLARD replied to B Jake Moran's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
I remember going car shopping with my parents, had to be late summer / early fall of 1976....We went to the Chrysler / Plymouth Dealership in Beacon, NY and they were looking at the four door version of this model... I really liked it and my Dad did as well, but Mom thought it was too big for her to drive...they ended up buying a new Cougar XR7. Steve -

1973 Corvette clean up
STEVE POLLARD replied to Laughing Coyote's topic in Our Cars & Restoration Projects
Looking great Martin....I'm starting to go thru my C20 ( u-joints, center carrier bearing, then onto the wheel cylinders and brakes ) the truck passed inspection when I got her, but who knows how old this stuff is, u-joints and carrier look original ! I can't wait to see your Corvette on the road ! Steve -
I heard that it would remove all road debris but leave factory markings ? I was thinking about having it done to my '69 Chevy truck...the truck came out of South Dakota ( previous owner was a farmer ) bottom side had that red-clay dirt everywhere... I pressure washed it, but the frame and suspension just has surface rust, I figure this process could clean it up nice and spray a metal protectant on the surface.

Thanks Ed

A QUESTION FOR THE CHEVROLET ENTHUSIASTS
STEVE POLLARD replied to Terry Wiegand's topic in Chevrolet & GMC - General
Terry - try this site.... I had reproduction window stickers made for my 1969 Impala SS and my 1986 Monte Carlo SS.... exceptional detail ! Owner of the company is Paul Cavaseno... If you like to see a picture of them, let me know. https://www.winvoices.com/ Steve -
Just curious to see how many of the members here have used this process and if the results were positive or negative ? Steve

I can't wait to see the final product Chris...... I'm sure it will be stunning ! Steve

Hey Kerry.... not yet, something else came up with the truck.. the carrier bearing needs replacement. while I was under the truck, I noticed the rear wheel cylinder is leaking too, so I'm just going to replace all the wheel cylinders and the rubber brake lines up front and the rear rubber brake line that goes to a T for both rear wheels. The joys of owning a 54 year old truck...lol ( but I enjoy it ! ) Steve

Bought a Car (GTO) Looking for advice.
STEVE POLLARD replied to TAKerry's topic in General Discussion
Congrats to your son......I'm just a few mins north in Wappingers...I'll be around all weekend ( working on the '69 C20 ) Holler if you need anything Kerry... Steve -
Why ? The reason that I was asking, was that my wife asked me about it. If there was a listing of the vehicles that will be in the Corral, I would think that it would stir more interest, especially if someone was planning on driving a long distance.

Topic removed as "click bait"
STEVE POLLARD replied to Restorer32's topic in Forum Questions and Answers
If there was an issue with a member's comment, why remove the entire thread and not just the comment? I found Jeff's topic very interesting ! Steve -
For those vehicles that have register for the Car Corral, prior to the show, will there be a listing of those vehicles ? Asking for a friend....🙂 Steve

Well, I had another guy commented over on a FB site to use the weight of the truck as a press.... jack the truck up, place the gate on a 4x4 under a wheel and slowly lower until the bow is removed..
-
Yes it is Glenn......I had someone over on another web site forum suggest that I remove the tailgate, place it on top of 4x4's at each corner of the gate, then have two of your friends step on the gate 😄
