progoofoff
I said I wasn`t going to have any more restoration projects. That was 3 cars ago.The car is complete with the exception of the jack. Rust issues are minimal.
MrEarl
WHAT not a "54? Congrats Bob, that baby is gonna be beautiful when done. Love the white and Gulf Turquoise over and under like that. So 50's fun in the sun colors. I bet the interior is green? Do you know the history of the car. It must have been the first to do "something" for you to own it. So you'll be dropping it off at HC's when you pick up the four door I reckon. If you start running out of room I can help with storage of one.... progoofoff
Glenn, Probably not, HCG is booked up but I`m talking with a local restoration shop who can get right on it. It`s a three man shop and won't be as fast as Honest Charley. I think it will take a year to complete.Bob Edited November 9, 2012 by progoofoff (see edit history)
JohnD1956
. Rust issues are minimal...Reminds me of the 78 Electra I once looked at, advertised as no rust on the car. And it was true. It was all on the ground around the car. LOLBob, great car. Gonna look great next to the prototype. Pretty soon you'll need one of those old style car carriers to get to chows. Guest Rob McDonald
BOB, you don't know the meaning of slowed progress. It's measured in years, decades even, not weeks. Great car, great colours! If someone told me, Belfast Green dash in a Gulf Turquoise car, I'd have said they're nuts. It does work though. What colours and material will the upholstery be?
