....wonderful and rare, with about 10 still around.

The 3-Litre Sunbeam was surely the most sporting car on the list of 1930 cars in the Royal Automobile Club of Sweden's calender that year. There were no Alfas, Bentleys or Bugattis listed.

Walt, I wonder if this bus terminal was ever built in New York City. I found it in a 1934 issue of Architectural Record magazine I listed on another site. It always amazes me how a skilled artist can produce the vision of the future on a blank piece of paper.

Quite possibly but if the area exits now it has been altered since it was built. For some reason I am thinking something similar I have seen along the west side of Manhattan. But it has been some years since I did any serious walking tours to look at architecture and locations of former car dealership, coach builder , and auto related structures.

Is a White see hood standing in front with cutout for steering gearbox.  Note safe way to start without breaking your arm.  You do that when tired of cranking by hand.

George,  not its first body.  Do you know when the coachwork was put on it?

I don’t. My guess is mid 1930’s. He was a more prolific builder than I was aware of. Just like any great car with racing bloodline they always made great sports cars.F50B216E-86A0-45F1-9E9F-B4C7A8AB2BCA.jpeg.2eefb506991514afdb552967f7814032.jpeg

Nothing better than a old used car. Probably heading to the lake for the day.

That car belongs to a member here, and his mother is sitting in the rumble seat. She lives near me in Florida. I think the car got in the family just before or just after the war, Orin, please comment.
