Paul Dobbin
Happy New Year! Well yes, it is. Led our second annual Birthday Tour, with all our antique cars getting a year older today. With my second new knee of 2019 being less than 3 weeks old, I was invited to lead from a 1936 Packard. What a great ride in in the country in a great car. We rode 23 miles in an hour and had mostly paved roads in the Smoky Mountains. We saw beautiful mountains, valley's, farms, streams, live stock and no traffic. We were followed by a 28 Model A Ford, a 29 Model A Ford, a 1932 Plymouth, a 1936 Ford, a 52 Dodge Army Truck. As usual, we went out to eat at the end. A small tour compared to the 40 year old Birthday Tour of the PinMAR Antique Car Club in the Tampa Bay area, that sometiimes has 60+ vehicles. =+
