I've driven my old cars Christmas day before with a trace of snow nowhere. Sunny & cold is good driving weather, but cold & wet is awful. Drove down into Georgia last weekend to see the Miles Through Time Museum in Taccoa. Nice fall colors and a fun place to visit. junkyardjeff Posted November 17, 2018 Share Posted November 17, 2018 We had freezing rain the other day here in Ohio and they put the liquid salt down,going to drive the sunliner to Daytona Beach over thanksgiving to a car show and then it will be put away for the winter and hope to not have to deal with snow on the way home. We have had a very dry fall in the PNW, October and November extremely dry. Now if we could just shift the jetstream closer to California, temporarily of course, then the rains would put out the fires, and not create mudslides in the burned out areas.
