  1. Before putting the rear axle on the car,just check the weekness just inside the "races" as in the picture.And be sure the race are "paralell" with the other side! Leif in Sweden.

Want to buy a Buick 1924-1927 Fisher Parts Price Book closed body original books prefarred.I have a 1924-41 Master model 4dr, and a friend of mine has 1924-50 Master 4dr. closed models on both. 1924-1925 bodies are proberly very similar to each other, 1926-1927 books are interrested too.   5. I was working at this 1925-25 at that time when I putted loose rod and crank bearings from Volvo and Chevrolet .I had been thinking of doing that for a long time and did it on this car,still good working engine after 15 year. Leif in Sweden.

  9. lump. I have went thru this 1600 pages Standard Catalog a lot of times not finding what I was searsing for.That`s frustating just becuse most of the US cars are there,but the angles of the cars are not the very right ones all the times? Cheers Leif in Sweden.
  10. lump. Here are a scan of the Autocar from the American Cars 1805-1942. This Autocar seems to have half elliptic spring in front and you can see the frame on the picture too if looking close to it! Just take a look at those marked arrows and compare with the Reading car.We will learn as long as we live people use to say! Leif in Sweden.

  15. You have to bend the brass "rod" on the float bowl. Leif in Sweden.
  16. Compare with those 1909-1911 Columbia pictures,wrong radiator wrong on front frame.Car in question don`t have the frame in front it has a spring up and down.1/4 or 1/2 elliptic spring. Leif in Sweden.

Fill up the vacuum tank,remove and tighten the vacuum line between the vacuum canister and the inlet.Start the engine and see if it still floaded.If not floaded the problem is the vacuum canister,a very common problem on 1920s Buicks.There can be a lot of different problems inside the canister.But no problems to open it up and take a look ,just remove all the skrews on top and lift it up.   18. Want to buy a 1928 Buick Serie 115. Book of parts ,don`t need to be perfekt but decent .Lose pages no problems but all pages must bee there. Original if possible! I know I can buy it from the "archive" $58 but they are asking $40 for shipping to Sweden and I know I can shipp the same weight to US for $10 as a letter ,the book itself weight is 10oz= 300gr.$10 up to 500gr from Sweden to US. I have to pay taxe and charge on the total as well ,therefor I need as low total cost as possible! Will pay with paypal. Leif in Sweden.

  20. There are different parts numbers for each year on 322 heads!!!!!!! between 1953-1956. Leif in Sweden.
  21. Hugh. Just remeber they worked well when they where new with that differans in weight. I did weight my rods too years ago with the same differans as yours ,and didn`t do anything just becuse of the grinding problem. Leif in Sweden.
