  1. If 2 of the 4 are women there won't be any room left for the men's luggage .
  2. The car in the picture posted must be empty on gas, it looks higher in the back Kevin

Thank you for posting this. The age of most Riviera owners puts us at higher risk. Kevin
  4. I don't have air so I only notice the wind noise when it's cold or raining. Otherwise there's nothing better than all windows down, driving 75 mph.
  5. Bob brought up a good point about breaking down the cost over time. When I go to buy tires I usually spend more than planned but I end up with a better tire. Sometimes when you buy a cheap tire all you get is a cheap tire. Ride quality and peace of mind costs a little more. Kevin
  6. I have the same upper right hand windshield area noise. I agree with Winston about the wind being upright. The other problem is new cars are so quiet now we expect are old cars to be the same. Kevin
  7. At that price, I would want to know the date codes on the tires. Kevin
  8. After looking at the pictures, I didn't think it would last long. That was a very reasonable price. Kevin
  9. The white walls and wire wheel covers look much better than black walls and regular caps. I took drivers training driving '68 buicks. Back then the Flint police cars were Buick Lesabre's. Kevin
  10. You can bring the timing mark on the balancer to the 0 degrees then take distributor cap off and look to see if the rotor is pointing to #1. Kevin
  11. I painted mine to match interior. Wrapping with vinyl would look great.
  12. You might try Classic Instruments, Boyne City Michigan. They make custom gauges. Kevin
  13. Looks great Bob. The hard work is done. Kevin
  14. I always thought that the woodgrain painting on the dash adds a lot of class .
  15. I have found that ethanol gas, even with seafoam creates problems in my truck on long storage. 3 years in row I had to take the carburetors apart to clean the white powder in fuel bowls from the ethanol when it evaporates. You couldn't drive the truck it ran so bad. I would use ethanol free all year but they charge a dollar more a gallon around here. With social distancing I have not needed gas yet, will probably fill tank on the Riviera today.
  16. I have been filling the tank with ethanol free gas before long storage. Around here in Michigan it's usually about 90 octane.
  17. Bob, sounds like you have been busy. When we get done with social distancing we should have a lot of trouble free driving with our Rivieras. Stay safe Kevin
  18. With no car cruises for now, I keep looking to fix things that aren't broke on the Riviera. I changed the flexible brake hoses and found the dates on the old ones were January of 1983. One less thing to worry about. Kevin
  19. Gene, it looks like your boredom pictures are paying off. Keep posting. Kevin
  20. Gene is that you on the cover of Car Review? Kevin
  21. In times like this we all need a good laugh. Kevin
  22. Ok, but what do you do tomorrow? I only see 12 beers.
  23. Yes the gas is cheap but it's been 3 weeks since I bought any and another month before will need to.
