eBay Motors

What the heck happened to eBay Motors?  I used to go to Collector Cars and Pre 1939 and my search came right up.  Now, no matter what I do, I get nothing but modern cars listed.  Very frustrating.

Oh, they still sell cars on Ebay? So many said Reserve Not Met I thought they were just display pictures and quit looking. Maybe I will look again, later tonight if I have time, or tomorrow, or over the 4th if the weather gets bad.

I bought one on Ebay in 2001, but it was different then.

Go to eBay Motors and click on cars and trucks. Then click on "find vehicle". That will bring up every thing in that category. Then click on "oldest first". You can the scroll through the ads, staring with the oldest or you can skip pages until you get to the era that interests you

I bought my ‘52 Cadillac 75 on there last year. Traveled 10 hours each way to get it. I’d love to say that it worked perfectly for me but it’s not in my genes to have things go smoothly. If I could get it to shift I’d be driving it every day. When I did have the transmission working it went from 0-50 like a new car but much smoother. I competed with I think 3 bidders. My favorite cars are the ones that they sell on hemmings without pictures. Nobody seems to pursue them and when you reach out to the seller they are excited someone actually called them. I bought my ‘51 Meadowbrook that way. $800, only problem on the body was a hole in the floor pan.

No “oldest first” came up for me.

I used to be able to search for all cars between certain years.  For example, I always searched for cars manufactured between 1930 and 1971.  One can now search decade-by-decade, but not for a period of several decades.

I have purchased two cars via ebay and have been very pleased with the results.  I still own them.

The aircraft for sale option has totally disappeared.

Cheers,

Grog

I go to "Motors"-"Cars & Trucks"- "Collector Cars"- "Antique & Vintage (pre-1925)" and get 75,826 results.

Choosing "Oldest First" from the drop-down list,  a Lotus Super Seven, a Shelby Cobra, and a Land Rover top the list.  Of the 50 cars listed on that first page,  22 are hot rods.

This also no longer works - at least on my computers.
