Ordered with all the right stuff for sure! Nice Nice! My last 2 GT Hawk's were 63's. Virtually same car except the trunk lid. They were very hard to sell and finally ended up losing money on both.

And here I was thinking that this auction would go through the roof. I know I would love to own it.

It may very well get bid up to extravagant numbers. Very clean car with those options are hard to find. It's just that Studebaker buyers are notoriously cheap and more of them are dying off on a daily basis. As a multi Stude owner and follower for over 50 years I've seen the interest really taper off in the last few years. Lowball offers are the main menu when trying to sell. My former Hawks shown below both in the $8000 Canadian range a few years ago.

The way this car is configured. It may push the price up. It is practically the king of the hill. Minus the color. The problem is if you get high enough, you’re in Avanti territory.

I’d take this color with no complaints.

I don’t hate it. But why is never at the top of anybody’s list of desirable colors.

Just thinking it would be easier to keep the white clean. At least with all the dust around here.

White hides the bad bodywork better. Ask me how I know that!!

Truth. As teenagers, we all knew that black showed every imperfection and white hid everything.

Another one of those cars I have always loved! I favor white cars so this one is just about perfect, black would def. be menacing though!! (and harder to keep clean-ask me how I know, LOL).

The more time one spends looking at this car the better it looks. There aren't many things that make me wish I was younger but this is one of them.
