Hans1965
Wonderful car, need to check if I have 40 grand laying around somewhere... Is that the normal kind of roof for such a woodie? No idea about that.
George Smolinski
Are those the standard taillights and backup lights? They look kinda strange.
auburnseeker
This was on BAT or Hemming sAuctions in the last few weks and didn't sell. Maybe the comments would answer alot of questions. Something doesn't look quite right to me with the wood side panels. Almost like there should be another piece in the inserts.

deac
That's a cool car and very fairly priced at 40k. Buyer needs to evaluate the wood before buying it....
TerryB
There was a 1948? Chevy woody on here recently with the same style tail lights. Must have been the style for GM woody wagons.

The subject wagon is all factory stock, roof, wood, and tail lights with optional back-up lights. Here are a couple of similar ones: 2

StillOutThere
Had an exchange with the seller at least some 9(?) months ago about this wagon having seen it perhaps on Craig's at the time. Its a very genuine car and I am very fond of reference car survivor condition which is "HPOF" in this club's context. I would own it but with distance from me and limited bank account, it was just a bridge too far despite my passion for it. All things considered, what I thought it really needed to sell was a close personal inspection, of the wood in particular. Maybe a few prospectives have done that and walked away? Maybe someone from AACA will get that done and be driving this great piece?
Jeff Perkins / Mn
I know the previous owner of this car who sold it to the current owner. The previous owner and his father owned car for about 30 years. It is an honest car that is a real beauty, I have seen it in person. Jeff Perkins / Mn
I am currently in Seattle and I alerted the prior owner of the sale. He told me to sell my plane tickets and buy the car to drive home. I would love to! However, I have been down the Woody road twice, on to something else. John_S_in_Penna
I'm no expert on Buick wood wagons, but the upholstery material may be incorrect. Can anyone tell us definitively?

Money and space keep me from moving on it......😢😢😢
