Leif in Calif
Looks like a nice example. You have to wonder how they arrived at the asking price.
Jim Skelly
nice looking car; it appears to be missing the crankcase hole cover for the grille

It's got to be the corduroy seats, Helen Keller's favorite color! 3
Hudsy Wudsy
I can't help but think that the heat shield at the front of the exhaust manifold would be more effective if the gas line wasn't actually resting on it.
TAKerry
Nicely styled car. Other than the paint (sans sheriffs badge on the door) the car looks fairly tired. Seems like a lot of money for a driver needing so much detailing. Then again I have priced others lately.
classiclines
Appears to be same car, over one year later --- now showing more recent pics, significant price reduction... ...NOT MINE... https://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/d/casa-grande-1934-hupmobile-dr-original/7708570245.html 1934 hupmobile 4 Dr original. - $17,500 (Casa grande, AZ) Description: 34 hupp. Rebuilt engine. wayne sheldon
A bit too new for me. But I like it! I question the "rebuilt engine"? It doesn't look like any really rebuilt engine I ever saw. Maybe worked over a little bit? The material I don't think is correct, but the interior looks pretty good anyway. I would actually consider it if I had the money to spend. Almost anywhere you ever went with it, you would be the only one there with anything quite like it!
TAKerry
Car has great lines. Broken record: Maybe getting it out of the garage and a good wash would look a bit better in fs ad. Take the silly sticker off the door and (ahem) change the tires to black walls -there you go AJ, I am learning! Not sure how factual the old movies I watch are, but I have never seen a 30's era police car with lettering? I guess some did, I suppose with pre war sedans its either a police car or one puts a tommy gun in the back seat!

alsancle
I think the Black F442 has its own thread. That car has an ask of 32K. If it was the 17K in the title it would be sold I think. EDIT: I can't find it so maybe it doesn't? Leif in Calif
If this is the same car (not at all sure), someone has done A LOT of work. Also, now in Texas, before it was just south of Phoenix.
kar3516
Definitely not the same car. Sidemounts vs no sidemounts. Rectangular side mirrors on one but not the other. Etc
