Thanks for setting me straight Matt, as you know being a Chrysler man I might be a bit slow, but it's hard to believe that Ron is the chief inspector of the screw police, he is such a Gentleman, he sent me some parts for my Chrysler a while back and didn't want any payment for the parts or the postage, so it very difficult for me to believe that he is part of the feared Screw Police.

A true Gentleman in my opinion, but you never know maybe after a Shandy or two??? haha 😂

Yeah, don't you hate it when you put a screw in your trouser pocket and forget about it until you sit down and then the damn thing bites you!

It’s not the screw that bites me it’s my wife when it goes through her washing machine. 😂

Ron, when my kids were growing up and they acted like this I slapped them up side the head. It actually worked.  Feel free, unless you want me to come over and show you how?

I remember getting bullied at school you just beat the shit out of each other behind the art block and then it was over. The good old days.

Looks great Ron!  Did you find a place that sells the lift the dot fasteners and long screws that attach to the windscreen frame or did you already have them?

I got all mine from your homeland Rich. They have all sorts of lengths and sizes. I’ll send you the link if you need some.

Thanks Ron, I think I’ve got enough but they weren’t in great shape so was going to try and find some new ones.  I hadn’t found the lift the dots with that small a thread so if you could let me know the place I’ll give them a try.

Fitted the link bar to the windscreen wiper arms All working as I hoped C161C2B8-1C08-4E80-8A6A-ABABA59CBB4D.jpeg.553c4a32ae6c959c1b34a788e6203837.jpeg

One for DougAE360D29-D7C9-4E35-AD35-BCC46BAE92BE.jpeg.2317d12a730e034e4b8987619867eaa9.jpeg

This is the kit for attaching the bar to the wiper arm I could only go to one eighth max drill size The hole in the joint is four mm so I used these little nylon bushes that came out of a tray of small screws and nuts that I rescued from the bin when a mate shut up his electronic repair shop

Matt, I am not smart enough to post pictures. I sent you a few of my windshield wipers, please share if you want. Does Ron know you used nylon on his car, first used around 1938 for toothbrushes??

Ron must take all the responsibility for that Doug, I just post all his pictures for him after he sends them to me.
