Ron Lawson
I am looking for a drawing or photographs of the both Splash Shields for a late 16 (December Built) Dodge Brothers Thank you Ron
nearchoclatetown
Wouldn't yours be rong hand drive Ron? That would change everything with the steering box being on the right side.. And you probably have a magneto which would effect them too. Or do you mean between the running boards and body?

MikeC5
I have no direct knowledge of 1916 vintage but the splash pans on my '25 do not appear to be influenced by the steering gear box. I would think LHD/RHD wouldn't matter since the basic layout of engine/oil pan is the same (I believe). They are non-symmetric but so is the oil pan/bottom flange of block. cahartley
I happen to have the splash shields out from my '25 sedan.Say the werd and I'll photograph them.
Ron Lawson
Yes they are required for a R.H.D car and I believe that there are differences between Magneto and Distributor equipt cars as well Jack is also looking for a distributor set up for this car as well Thanks Ron
Ron Lawson
They are for a R.H.D car and I believe that there are differences between maggy and dizzy engines All we need is the measurements We can change the steering box variation to the right hand side Jack intends to change the ignition to coil /dist instead of the mag so if any one has one of them spare as well I think he would be interested bearing in mind we are in Aust and the exchange rate is pretty awful at the moment Thanks Mike Photos and measurements would be great Thank you Ron
nearchoclatetown
The correct distributor would be a Delco to replace a '16 mag. Shields for a '25 are way different then '16.
Spinneyhill
Why the change to a distributor? I thought magnetos were more reliable once set up properly.
Ron Lawson
Spinneyhill I will have to ask Jack the bloke that owns this car. I am just trying to help him in getting bits and pieces for his car

nearchoclatetown
I don't have a '16 to look at but I THINK they are going to be completely flat. My '18 shields are, but I am fairly positive they are different then yours.
