  1. Kevin, 92 front hubs on a 91...interesting.... First, what Padgett said. Second, I've never considered it. I would think there's got to be some manipulation at the electrical connection point, though. Just looking at the 91 vs. the 92... The 91 sensor is a bolt on at the hub with a long wire connection away from the hub. The 92 sensor is embedded in the hub with a short wire connection close to the hub. so, physically they are quite different.
  2. Kevin...To your credit, you've not missed a thing (LOL)! Although I've read many Teves threads on the forum, I am not personally familiar with previous years' ABS Teves Systems since I've never had a car that's had it. I do know the 91 FRONT ABS speed sensors were a one-year-only-not-embedded-in-the-hub design as depicted in the 1986-1993 Reatta & Riviera Parts and Illustration Catalog. There's also a picture available on Rockauto. The FRONT ABS speed sensors are embedded on my 92 Riviera.
  3. Front ABS wheel speed sensors are a separate part from the wheel hub for the 1991 Reatta/Riviera/Toronado/Eldorado. This was a one year only - 1991 - design. Rockauto's part number is ABS530069, GM factory part number is 3521274. When you try to order these sensors from Rockauto, a message comes back that the parts are currently unavailable but you can leave your email address so they can contact you when/if any come in. All the other GM parts companies inform that the front sensors are no longer available (I've been looking for quite awhile!). The rear sensors are built in and probably available but I've not inquired.
  4. I'm a Riviera guy, but I can also understand the Eldorado purchase!!!
  5. There are usually one or two 74-76 Riviera's that attend the annual ROA International Meet were ALL Riviera's are welcomed. I think they're unique by the fact that they have the extra pair of rear brake lights just below the rear window at the trunk cowl. One or two 77-78's show up, also. And, over the last few years we've had at least a half dozen 86-93 "Baby Riv's" attend our annual meet.
  6. Try www.car-parts.com. The online site includes both US and Canada salvage yards. I had success using this site when I was looking for parts for a 85 Riviera I once owned. Good luck.....
  7. Received mine on 5/9. Great new look....congratulations to Michelle Finney....a talented graphic artist (and she's even got an ROA membership number!).
  8. I can't believe you finally admitted that its a YANKEE swap!!!!!
  9. The Minuteman Chapter members pray that Suzanne's surgery went well and that she will be on the path of full recovery. Derek, we know you'll hang tough for the sake of your children...keep them close.
  10. Ronnie...I've used your Reatta Store a number of times to purchase items...just purchased 6 of the bulbs.
  11. I've also used twice and agree with Padgett...amazing.
  12. Local cruise-ins/car shows will start in earnest next week. Took the 92 Riviera out of hybernation and had a new windshield put in this past week. Plan on detailing interior/exterior tomorrow. Both the 91 Reatta and 00 Eldorado are out and about already for the past couple of weeks. Can't wait/chompin' at the bit to drive the Riviera to the ROA meet and then the Reatta to the BCA meet.
  13. I also just checked my 1994 60th edition of the Hollander Interchange - ID & Body manual: Hinges from 86-93 Riviera, 86-91 Eldorado, 86-91 Seville, and 86-92 Toronado are interchangeable LH only and RH only. Hinges from 92-94 Eldorado and 92-94 Seville are interchangeable LH only and RH only. REATTA stands by itself....no interchange with any other GM.
  14. Looked up the parts in the 88-93 Riveria/Reatta Parts & Illustration Catalog: 88 thru 93 Riviera LH hinge part #1639670 and RH hinge part #1639671 88 thru 91 Reatta LH hinge part #20685171 and RH hinge part #20685170 I have access to part #'s for the 92 thru 02 Eldorado via "crash sheets": 92 thru 96 Eldorado LH hinge part #25650356 and RH hinge part #25650355 97 thru 02 Eldorado LH hinge part #25663307 and RH hinge part #25663306 I have no reference material for Trofeo's. Hope this helps...
  15. A bunch of 95-99 (8th generation) Riviera owners installed sequentials purchased from www.webelectronicproducts.com. They said if anyone ran into trouble while installing, a call directly to the company solved their problem post haste. I believe most bought the generic 3 light per side model. I bought a set for my 91 Reatta but have yet to install.
  16. On behalf of my Minuteman Chapter and me personally, thank you for the pictures depicting your new BCA Logo Grille Badge/License Plate Topper! We're happy that you're happy.....
  17. There are two unfortunate issues precluding my chapter from selling our items to countries beyond the USA: 1. Do not have the capacity to process a non USA bank check 2. Shipping costs would be prohibitively high...my chapter would actually loose $$. Since postal rates have increased, I now pay more than the $1.00 I currently charge for US mailings! Please remember that I will be selling our items at the BCA National in South Bend.
  18. I do not know the bulb # but you might try this Sylvania link www.sylvania.com.

    65 Rivi hup caps

My personal experience with the company was that they advertised/therefore I ordered two 1991 Reatta 16" alloy rims. Two weeks later they informed me that they didn't have any and could not find any. Then why advertise them???
  20. Barney, The ROA meet in Lexington, KY is June 24 thru June 27, two weeks PRIOR to the July BCA National in South Bend. If you attend the ROA meet (car show open to the public free of charge Thursday, 6/27), you'll be impressed by witnessing over 100+ Buick Rivieras from 1963 thru 1999! I'm driving my 92 Riviera to the ROA meet, then back home, then driving the 91 Reatta to the BCA meet two weeks later.
  21. I'm attending. Driving the 91 Reatta. Will be manning the Minuteman Chapter swap meet table...stop by.
  22. Kingsley, Received and replied...thank you.
