  1. There's the MG Y -type and, although similar that isn't one of them.
  2. It's a Sub Category under Photos and Videos.
  3. Oooooh, I get it now. $$$$$! Please disregard my previous comment.
  4. ????? Ferrari morphing into a Packard is more than special, it's magical!😉😲😁
  5. Wondering when someone was going to bring that up.😉
  6. From what I can see, not much, don't think it's 28/29 Ford. Looks to have adjustable spokes, whereas the 28/29 Ford, and 30/31 all had welded spokes. Also looks to have a smaller hub than a 28/29, possibly a splined hub.
  7. The Ford Prefect, not the one in the "Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy", but the one that's the "LittLe brother" to the Ford Pilot.
  8. Would not be an English Ford Pilot, which were produced post WW2. Ford Pilots were also known in Aussie slang, as a "P" Model Ford!😉
  9. Scroll way down to see the BIG pictures.
  10. Sorry again. Just reread the title of this thread. My pics weren't taken on "Main Street" but at least they are Hearses.😉
  11. Back to NZ, before going to Napier I went to MOTAT(Museum of Transport and Technology) in Auckland and found this Packard Clipper Hearse there. Sorry 😪 for the pic quality. it was dark in there and the flash and photographer both could have been better.
  12. Here's an Aussie 1st Series Packard that was part of an estate being sold off a couple of years ago. The guy had collected at least 400 cars in various stages of disrepair, though there were some good/better ones and over 700 motorcycles.
  13. Saw this '36 Packard Super Eight Hearse at the Naper(New Zealand) Art Deco festival in 2014.
  14. John Harley is sometimes on the PackardInfo Website. Join that site, post this story there and he'll likely respond.
  15. I'm thinking that's $50 well spent! 😉😁
  16. Here's a bit more info on Aussi John's '35 Studebaker.
  17. Thank you Dave!👍 Might change the referenced beverage from "Lark" to Bundy. Bundaberg Rum or Bundy as it's colloquially known Australia wide would probably be a better reference.
  18. Funny post, but it doesn't look so bad here downunder.
  19. What a fine looking automobile! 👍👍👍
  20. Available from supercheap auto here in Australia. Though they probably wouldn't ship to the USA
  21. Not Packard. By the 40's/early 50's the 200,000 series of part numbers was well in the past for Packard.
  22. Are the pull-out seats considered to be "side mounts"?
  23. Guy I know with a 1st Series Packard used a milk churn filled with water and rigged up at the front of his Packard as a means of cooling it to get it going.
