    That rear fender sweep starts behind the door on the the car in question The actual '57 rear fender sweep starts in the door of the 57 itself. But what do I know? The car is customised, so anything could have happened to.

    Any chance this tag has been fixed to the frame later? If so, it might be possible for the DMV to run the number through its database. Or even if its a factory number it could be in their database. Whether they would tell you might be another matter altogether.

    This table of Engine Serial numbers from packardInfo.com will let you determine whether it is a 288 or 327 from the engine number itself.

    ....Back in 2011 while visiting a restoration workshop, Vintage Motor Garage, north of Sydney, Australia saw this pair of Cadillacs being rebodied to turn into V16 Roadsters. Floor sweepings, car porn or art? Wonder what happened to them?
