  4. No, it's a '34 by the shape of the front muguards(fenders). And also probably a Twelve by the bumper(bumper).😂
  5. 1 - Check the new thermostat is working by heating it up in a pot of water and bringing it to the boil. You should be able to observe it operating. 2 - If 1 is OK, check that the linkage from the thermostat to the shutters is working properly.
  6. If I remember correctly, 1940 was a year in which the Theft Proof Number was not stamped into the firewall of Packards.
  7. Vickers Viscount is a turboprop powered aircraft.
  8. What about a Model A Duesenberg? Pic below(stolen from the internet) shows fuel filler on RHS for that model.
  9. On the other hand there was a rebadged Nissan Patrol Y60 sold by Ford Australia as a Ford Maverick from 1988 to 1994. I doubt these are for those though.
  10. This Super Eight was the car used by JFK's father Joe Kennedy when he was US Ambassador to the UK before WW2. Car is now in Australia in the state of Victoria.

  12. Sure is, it's a Holden Panel Van. Think it might be an HG Holden, but the more experienced will know for sure.
  13. Plenty of those around. This one is now in the Australian National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills where the tow truck operated. Even a photo of it "in action" back in the day.
