Is that it? 1955 Alfa Romeo Other 1955 ALFA Romeo 1900 Here is a really nice Alfa 1900. What's makes it very unique is that it happens to be serial number 1900. Its got new gauges. Excellent paint, new upulstery. Unfortunately it does not have the original motor. Needs to be wired and fired and put back together. I have in boxes, the original door cards glass and plexiglass pieces and most exterior pieces. This is a great for someone who is handy with tools, or a wonderful father son project. Especially if you dont like each other. Selling because im investing in another project car.
  2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-Alfa-Romeo-Other-/282427448347?#description Does not look familiar to me. Over $50k already. 1955 Alfa Romeo Other, Current bid:US $50,100.00 This Pininfarina Coupe is very nice straight bodied car. The motor will turn by hand. I got it to fire up once many years ago. Been sitting a long time. It had some front end damage but I was able to get it repaired by one of the best in California Might need only a little bondo to smooth it out. Not much in the way of extras. What you see is what you get. Way beyond my mechanical abilities, so she's gotta go! On Apr-12-17 at 14:30:34 PDT, seller added the following information: This car has the correct 1308 motor which I believe is the original engine. the engine will turn. Four speed column shift. This car has a steel body. rear windows are in perfect condition. Additional pix to follow
  3. When I search for parts I always check the "used" box and then sort by "newly listed" first and I search by make of the type of parts i am looking for. By checking "used" I avoid seeing all the made in China valve stem caps and Zebra-striped universal-fit seat covers.

  5. so no sanding marks show through probably no coarser than 400 grit. For the final sanding that is. You can use like 320 to cut faster then go over it again with the finer 400. That's for the firewall or the body, but for the frame coarser should be good enough. Actually the paint I have comes with a data sheet and instructions, including sanding and prep, that's where I got the "no coarser than 400" from I didn't just make it up. It says 400 to 600 grit. or adhesive disks And Red Scotch Brite pads for the hard to get at areas.

  11. It's ultimately about confiscating your older car due to it's not meeting modern emissions and fuel efficiency standards. In California they want you to fail the smog test and then pay you $1,000 to scrap it. And where does the state get the money to pay owners to scrap them? By raising everyone's registration fees. They want older cars off the roads.
  12. global positioning system uses ground stations as well as satellites. The GPS concept is based on time and the known position of specialized satellites. The satellites carry very stable atomic clocks that are synchronized with one another and to ground clocks. Any drift from true time maintained on the ground is corrected daily. The control segment is composed of: a master control station (MCS), an alternate master control station, four dedicated ground antennas, and six dedicated monitor stations. http://www.gps.gov/systems/gps/
  13. They close to sell out the seats when they come to our Northern California track, but there's not that much seating really. Sonoma Raceway has a permanent seating capacity of 47,000. This includes the grandstands and terraces around the track. During major races, hospitality tents and other stages are erected around the track, which brings the total capacity up to 102,000 seats. Here's a short clip of last year's finish, not your typical oval
