* Anyone into HO (or other) scale trains? I certainly was when I was a youngster, & still am, actually. So, I am hoping a major, working road trip actually happens in 2017. That in mind, I started a ROUGH, general overview of a potential route. Given so many variables (i.e. people to see, who I can stay with for a day or 2, needing to return to IL every so often, weather, timing, etc.), I will figure out specifics (dates, times, actual path, etc.) later. The outline below includes places I have stops for visits &/or 1-2 days to stay; some areas can be switched around, too (for instance, could stop in Cincinnati en route to FL).
