Thanks for the tip, Jack! I was over in White City last week to see a movie, actually, lol. I wanted to see 'I Can Only Imagine' & found a late-afternoon matinee for only $4! I will definitely check out that dirt track, tho. My goodness, I sure miss the 1 that was in Freeport IL. Watched a friend's cousins race there many a weekend. I can't wait to see those old cars, too, my goodness mercy me. Glad you will have a condo in June! Hopefully we can meet up, if you'd like. Hmmm ... would sure enjoy going there with you sometime, if that is a possibility. You could show me around, if you want. * The last 2 days have featured awesome weather in southern OR, & I took advantage both late afternoons by walking ~45-60 minutes on a section of Bear Creek Greenway, starting at a park at I-5 Exit 21. I continue working remotely as the Part-Time Office Manager for a home appraiser in the Elgin IL area, planning to go to Full-Time later this year; I want to get off Medicaid when I can afford my own healthcare policy. *rolls eyes* Luckily, I have other income options to check out, but meantime, I will withdraw funds from my IRA to pay some bills since expenses keep increasing. * Yep, I know it has been a while since I last visited, over 5 months, in fact. The road trips I had planned were quickly destroyed, thanks to new health issues & unexpected expenses which wiped out my built-up savings. The health issues had stabilized, more or less, thanks in part to Medicaid finally approving specialists, but then a scare about a speck in my lung being cancerous put me back on edge. Yikes! When I was looking for my Mercury GM, when I saw ads similar to this, I just continued on, even if it was a car I liked. The 1st couple times I didn't, & paid for it dearly, in terms of wasting time. The 03MGM I have, the ad was very succinct, the pics were on point & the car was exactly as advertised. * For the 1st time in a while, I got majorly sick, not going to the office Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Luckily, I was able to work remotely a little bit (even 3 hours earlier today, Saturday), so I did not lose as much time as I would have.
