  1. Looks to be in decent shape for the price. Needs rear shocks. Canโ€™t see the front.
  2. It could be worse. You could have 10 gallons of gas sitting just ahead and over your lap as in the Model A Ford.๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. Wheels and tires appear in good shape. Body/fenders look relatively straight and fairly rust free.
  4. Hand signal testing still required in AZ. Below from AZ driver's manual. This argument that hand signals are no longer used or understood comes up often on the old car forums. I recently quizzed an 18 yr. old. He knew what they were and could demonstrate them. One will occasionally see motorcyclists, bicyclists and others using them here. Just yesterday I saw a motorcyclist use hand signals.
  5. I thought the Browning automatic rifle (BAR) of the era was a .30-06.
  6. Things to check, radiator mounts, body blocks, frame sagging in the vicinity of the rear motor mounts. Les Andrews has a section on this in the Model A Mechanics Handbook Vol. II. Hood Alignment.
  7. Sadly, this one appears to have sat outside for some time.โ˜น๏ธ Edit: Facebook ad says it was in a barn since 1961.
  8. Take a look at the craigslist photo of the engine right side. No fuel pump there.
  9. I believe red wheels and black walls would bring out the desired contrast.
  10. StillOutThere, couldn't get your link to work. Try this. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/250722674490791/
  11. Stillwater, Minnesota. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/cto/d/stillwater-1936-ford-coupe/7643419677.html
  12. For Model A and Model T upholstery, there is Classtique Upholstery. Model A https://www.classtiqueupholstery.com/ Mike of Classtique usually has a booth at most of the popular swap meets. Model A Coupe interior upholstery prices.
  13. Like the OP stated. "What better way to celebrate our Nation's birthday than a drive in an old car................." My personal tradition is to take the old cars out for a drive on the 4th. That's it. ๐Ÿ˜€
  14. I think you are right about the drive on the left. Looks like I can see evidence of a brake drum on the left wheel. (Pictures left.)
  15. My '30 Model A came with a solenoid and push button start installed by the previous owner. If yours has a starting solenoid installed then yes, you could engage the starter with a properly wired remote push button. One could use the method pkhammer described taking the aforementioned precautions. Would be a little cumbersome. In either case, a good idea to have wheels chocked, e. brake engaged and transmission in neutral. I recommend picking up the book Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook by Les Andrews. https://www.mafca.com/cart/index.php?productID=166
  16. Nice looking Model A. Priced fairly.๐Ÿ‘ The only things I would change is the spare tire cover and remove the stone guard.
  17. So is this Willys actually a Whippet? To me, the engine compartment looks way to long for that Jeep engine.
  18. Nice looking Stude. Has open driveshaft (Hotchkiss drive?) vs many torque tube drives of the day.
