  1. This was covered earlier. I agree, way too much fun.
  2. FWIW. Dad had those on his farm tractor steering wheels but not on his car or trucks.
  3. I've seen a couple of them though it has been several years ago.
  4. Looks like a relatively fresh paint job on the body with little or no attention to the mechanics. Seems to be fairly complete. I believe it is priced on the high side.
  5. Same experience here with Rock Valley AA. 9 years ago they replicated a stainless tank for my '26 Buick Coupe I owned at the time. To my satisfaction, they were able to precisely locate the fuel pickup, gas gauge and filler tubes. Work was top notch. The cost was $900 but well worth it in my case. Have read that Rock Valley AA is moving or have moved and are hard to reach at this time.
  6. Especially with rear wheel brakes only and no windshield. 😨 Interesting Brass Maxwell. T head, 22 hp @ 900 rpm plus 3 speed sliding gear trans. Two hp and one more forward gear than a Model T Ford. There is good documentation that goes with it. Lots to like here. Does appear to need attention in a number of areas.
  7. Nice looking '34 Victoria.👍 To my eyes, the red wheels match the red pin stripe and go good with black. If it were mine, I would lose the white walls and trim rings.
  8. Even a challenge for one who works with wood. With this, one gets several challenges.
  9. X2. Too bad it was left out in the elements for who knows how long.
  10. Appears to be in reasonable condition. Seems fairly complete. Looks like a good project car for the money if one is so inclined.
  11. Same here. Had no idea an STI was a Subaru.
  12. Found this year old video of the engine running. Nice throaty 4 cyl. sound to my ears.
  13. Pretty sure it is a Buick Model 45, not sure of the year. The owner certainly knows what car he is restoring.
  14. Wow, what an epic camping trip. Ironically, there was no rain in the forecast when they started out. Recovery video is worth watching. What's not to like? Model T's, a couple of A's, 1921 Studebaker touring car, Jeep TJ recovery vehicle, flooded roads, eagle, hawk, field of lupines in bloom, mud bog, smoking lightning struck tree, mosquitos and a rattlesnake. 😀
  15. X2 here as well. I went so far as to find and order the 1926 version on Ebad. Appears to be in excellent condition considering it's age. $35. Less expensive examples are available. Pricing depends on condition.
  16. The dials “faces” on antique timepieces are especially vulnerable to damage. If using heat, proceed with caution.
  17. A friend of mine owned a '62 Tempest back in the early '70's. It had the 4 cyl. with 3 speed manual and was quite peppy. My understanding is the 4cyl. was 1/2 of a 389 V8. Was a fun car to drive although the shifter had slop in it and didn't feel precise.
  18. No front views. Appears to be in nice shape. https://prescott.craigslist.org/cto/d/chino-valley-1930-chevrolet-drsedan/7602867816.html From Ad: 1930 CHEVROLET 2DR SEDAN BLUE /BLACK IN COLOR. 19. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/d/el-mirage-1928-model/7605059233.html Listed as a 1928, obviously a 1930.
  20. Has most upgrades many T owners aim for already in place for less than 10K. Yes, the colors are a little off. Looks like a good value considering all the upgrades and general overall condition.
  21. Here's the one I have. From your local Harbor Freight. Has a large dial for easy reading. $14.99
