  1. Extremely neat piece of history you have there. Fewer batteries equal less weight but possibly less mileage range and available power. Keep us posted on updates to it.
  2. Imagine fuel economy being an advertising headline in 1922. The stated fuel economy is outstanding even by today’s standards.
  3. Just checked one of my parts books that covers both cars and trucks, neither part number showed up. Maybe military truck?
  4. The 914288 part number would make it about 1939 era and the 599690 would be mid-1930s based on typical Mopar part numbering. If the numbers don’t show up in the automobile part books there’s a good chance they are for trucks. Terry
  5. Sure! And a bag of Lititz Wilber buds candy too upon delivery. You like dark chocolate or milk chocolate or if you can’t make up your mind I’ll get a bag of mixed!
  6. Ok, just so you’re not disappointed I offer $10 with delivery to zip 17543 in PA.
  7. From the stuff my brother in law dropped off after cleaning out his unwanted items from his youth. This group is 1969 vintage. Apparently they were small snap together kits from the Lindbergh toy company who also made larger kits. These are about Matchbox size. I did not recall them but by this time I was driving real cars.
  8. You need a good CAD drawing of it to make it happen. Very popular with making prototypes in industry, at least that’s what my mechanical design engineer son tells me. Terry
  9. That’s some serious dust! Must be a Texas thing, dust is always bigger in Texas.
  10. Great photos as always! Thanks for taking the time to share with us.
  11. Nice car! Never saw one that was auto trans.
  12. No idea what it goes to but I’m enjoying that you are junking as part of your vacation! That is what I did too and when I was traveling for work I would look for parts. Sure glad the airlines did not charge for extra bags back then.
  13. No leaves yet, been too cold even here in southern PA. That should change this week as temps get closer to seasonal. Haven’t seen to many old cars or motorcycles around either as we have had snow flying around some days. Today would have been great weather for a swap meet.
  14. How about that rubber stuff you coat tool handles with? And, as much as I hate to say it, that as aseen on TV stuff where the guy paints on a coating that turns into rubber? Both would be a paint on option. Terry
  15. Great trucks! I once owned a 1967 C10.
  16. The name of the company is Canepa, their website is canepa.com. My son says they are well known in the Porsche world for service and racing along with top level automobile restoration.
  17. It's a cars and coffee meetup so every car there is on display in the parking lot regardless of its pedigree. The location of the gathering was a high dollar dealer that repairs and restores collector and racing cars. Most of the cars outside were just everyday folks and their rides. Mixed in were cars like the VW in the picture I posted.
  18. The April 2018 edition of Hemmings Classic Car magazine, issue #163 in their labeling scheme, has a 1978 Chrysler Newport as one of its featured cars. It's a low mileage example so the owners complaints are most about cosmetic imperfections. You might find it an interesting read.
  19. The long screw seems to be some type of adjustment related to the accelerator pump function. It seems it has to be set for the .007 to .015 adjustment and then locked in place.
