  1. Will say that I have to agree that there should be somewhere for all of the Chapters and Regions to display their banners. Were it not for the individuals, Chapters and Regions, there would be no need for Allentown 2016........ There is still time to figure something out........ Matt
  2. Well, then maybe "not so dumb" is the correct phrase? Hehe
  3. I use mine on my 56' here in Pa on the front. Covers one of my Whitaker Buick plates
  4. I was able to roll the car out of the garage today. Finally was able to install the fuel pump. Started installing the passenger side trim down the fender and door pontoons. As the car is coming together, I asked my wife what we should name her. The name "La Trujis" was chosen. My wife has always disliked the car, but now is falling in love with it.
  5. Jealous of you guys. I was only able to roll the 47' out of the garage and roll it back in.
  6. By the time I get things done, the day is gone. Takes awhile to assemble and go get more fasteners, etc. progress is progress!
  7. Nope. Still too much on my plate trying to finish the 47'
  8. Been looking for a wagon sort of project for the retirement years....
  9. Nice looking car, but that is pretty steep for a reserve with the damage it has. Under the dash looks to be cooked by looks of the radio. And the fire was pretty hot.
  10. I think the mint green convertible is a car that was found in Mexico and brought back here and restored. Car was at Knoebels amusement park on display last year.
  11. I finished the sound deadener on the floors and tidied up the hydraulic lines on the floor. Bolted down the heater core box and laid out the carpet. Now I have someplace softer to lay when finishing my wiring.
  12. Steele is where I bought all of my rubber seals. I too agree, bad design installing windshields from inside, but I guess I was lucky. My stainless trim slipped right in on the outside and when put windshield in, just had to hold the bottom section of stainless down while I tightened the chrome molding on the inside. Took about 2 hrs by myself.
  13. Have been working very little on the car as music concerts and Cub Scouts with my kids have been eating up a lot of time. But, I wouldn't miss any of those things. Most of the sound deadener is installed on the floors and still need to finish two hudraulic lines and then I will be done with that part. I finally had a decent enough day and put the windshield in. Proud to say that I think i did well.
  14. Fatherfocus The car is worth whatever you feel is a good price. You can read about my thread and it should give good insight. Ask all of the questions you can think of. Matt
  15. Really using your noggin there! Progress looks nice.
  16. No. Seats are similar from two door, but will require modification for hydeaulics and electric switches and courtesy lights. Good luck on finding anything rear seat for convertibles. I built my own springs modifying from another car.
  17. West I would say that a "real restomod" is almost totally unrecognizable to what the car should be. Quite laughable really.....
  18. Nahuel How is your project coming along? You haven't posted anything in awhile. Hope all is well Matt
  19. Have two more lines to finish to drivers side cylinder. Have the sound proof installed on over half of the floor.
