  1. I will be at the Allentown meet. Car is only 1.5 hrs North of the meet. Look me up and bring an offer I cannot refuse and your trailer. Matt
  2. I just realized that i hadn't answered your question. I am running an Autolite 295 in my 1947 320ci motor. You should be able to cross reference it over at NAPA or your neighborhood auto parts store. Matt
  3. What is used for batting to keep down dust inside door panels and inside lower car body panels? Need something quick as I'm trying to wrap up eerything in a hurry. thanks Matt
  4. Tried to order muffler through Waldron exhaust.....8 week lead time. Need another source. Checking locally, but not expecting to find anything. Half of the taillight sockets are repaired. The hydraulic pump is installed for the windows, seat and top. Trunk latch mechanism is all back together. ordered a filter today for the oil. Must be different size than normal. We'll see soon I guess
  5. Cost me 2.99 a piece for the new donor sockets. Repaired for less than $15.00
  6. Pressed the new plastic retainer and wires into the old socket. Viola!
  7. Grabbed ahold of the old wires in a vice and slid the old retainer off.
  8. Take the plastic retainer and wires out of new socket
  9. I think everything is figured out. Plugged the coolant drain hole and plugged all oil galley holes that aren't being used due to the oil filter install. Thanks to my good friends here on helping out. Matt
  10. A little further along. Oil lines all figured out. Heater hoses ran and radiator full. No leaks sitting still! Went to change the filter element out and have the wrong one. Just another delay in starting the old girl. Still have to drop the gas tank and run a new wire up into the trunk. Still have a few stray wires that need to be hooked up. Maybe this weekend. Message to self.....order a muffler. Gonna be a loud startup.
  11. Got the 56' out of storage and drove her home. She hot a much needed bath.
  12. Mark me down for four if the kids and wifey are allowed
  13. Have most of the lines figured out, (I think). All except this one......
  14. Bill thanks for rellying. Two of mine have the plastic broken so I am needing to replace quite a bit. I have an idea and will try something I did on my 56'
  15. For those who have these, they are really only for these years I believe. My "steel" sockets are useable, BUT, the part that I consider replaceable is very brittle, broken and frayed. How have others repaired/ replaced these? thanks Matt
  16. Do I have something wrong? Or am I missing something? all help appreciated. Wanting to crank her up by this weekend. thanks Matt
  17. In this picture, the oil line comes out of the bottom of the oil filter to the port in the head.
  18. In the picture above, there is a fitting with a yellow cloth stuck in it. The grey line coming out of the block to the right of the distributor is now hooked up to the top port on the external oil filter housing.
  19. I would appreciate any and all pictures of how the oil lines are run on other 320 ci engines. I seem to have either omitted plugging a hole or cannot remember where all of the lines go.
  20. My new convertible top is on order. I had almost forgotten to order it. Hoping to have everything else mostly done before the top gets here in 4 weeks. Company said is a 9 hour job (minimum) for someone that knows what they are doing!!!!
  21. Finishing up little wiring projects all afternoon. New everything to the headlight buckets and park/turn lamps. All the wires are hooked up at the radiator support. Started cleaning up the light bulb sockets for the taillights assemblies. They were pretty crusty. Still have to finish up the wiring at the sockets, then wire them in. Tomorrow another day and going to get the 56' out of storage.
  22. And this one is from the bottom of the filter to the port on the head
