I have a sneaking suspicion that the iphone is taking small video clips and not pictures, this is why they will not load. After cropping, they are saved as just a picture. To find out if yoir picture is a short video or not, hold your finger against the screen over the picture and see if the image moves and you get sound. This should be just a setting change on the phone. Matt

Tuesday and Wednesday rained off and on quite a bit. The 56' sunk about 3" where I had it parked in the yard. Had to pull it out with my truck. Then had a nice 20 minute drive to put her away for the winter.

Let the impact do the work. It might take a bit, but will come loose. The balancer should just pull off by hand with little effort after you remove the bolt.

So, had the 56' all cleaned up and ready to be put in storage for the winter. Woke up this morning and the diesel in my truck was jelled up (20 deg f). So, the 56' took me to work and stretched her legs all afternoon. Drove her around until around 8:30 while running errands. We are expecting rain for the next two days. Will probably go into storage on Thursday.

Today, managed to get a lot of my pending outside things done around the house and had time to back the 47' out of the garage and put the top mechanism back up. I have had the top material hanging in the garage to try and let some of the wrinkles slowly work their way out. She is now back in the warmth of the garage awaiting me to have more time to do more. Hey, got all winter......;)

Finally was able to put everything back together. I replaced the felt in the window tracks, straightened the window regulator arma back out and installed the glass. A word for the wise. Thevent window assembly had to come out to remove the glass from the door. Assembly was a little tricky. Had to install the window, then lower it to be able to put the vent window assembly back in the door. Care needs to be taken to not fold over the felt in the channel.

I am also very thankfull for everything that I have been given and the bountiful friendships here on the forum. Wishing you all the very best Matt

Have the glass back and now just need time to put everything back together. Still trying to finish up some remodelling in the house before wifey will let me play with the car much. Maybe will finish up the house tomorrow

Glass dropped off at glass shop. Hope to pick up tomorrow.... Still need to fix window channell felts....

Had not realized that it had been this long since my last post. I have been so busy on the 47' that this car was driven a lot, then just set aside when I got the convertible on the road. I had a lot of pending items to do and just got started a day or so ago. the drivers door glass has been cracked since I purchased the car. So, pulled the door panel, trying to figure out the best way to get the glass out. The interior door panels are going to need replaced, so will order some panel board and figure out how to make new fabric design. had to pull the vent window glass,regulator and frame to get it out. Am Going to work on window felt linings, etc while the window is out. Monday, will get a new glass cut along with my convertible rear window glass. more later as I progress Matt

The correct rear curtain has arrived and the top has been laid out flat for a little while to help any wrinkles and creases work their way out of the top. Monday, I will go get the new glass cut along with the drivers door window of my 56'. It has been cracked ever since I bought the car. more news when on assembly when I can get the dimension of the top of the tub to the wooden bow.

Purchased a set of 6volt halogen bulbs off of ebay. Now have origjnals put away in nice boxes.

Generally, you should remove the canister bowl by moving the metal retaining clip that holds the bowl on and fill it. Then return the bowl and install the clip again after adding fluid to the bowl.

Tonight I decided that safety os much more important than originality, so I changed out the headllights to halogen. Much brighter now and feel a little safer

Not 47'. Think 48',49' and not sure about after that.

Drove her to work today and caught a picture on the way home.
