  4. I hope I don't have these kind of withdrawal symptoms because I sold my 56'. It'll be expensive to go to Sweden just to see the old girl........?
  5. Thanks for the advice. That is why this forum is so great. When I restored my 47' Buick convertible, it was a little easier finding parts like these because they are the same across many years and models. I actually had to replace the handle spring on both doors. When working on a custom coach car, coming here to ask if anyone else has had to replace something similar is much easier and helpful resources abound. Matt
  6. Final payment made. She will be picked up and be taken to the port for her journey to Sweden next week. I know she has found a new next owner that will take her to the next level.
  7. Looking for the spring to actuate the plunger in the latch mechanism for above said car. This pushes the plunger out of the unit to latch in the door post. The spring isthe one pictured on the left any help or leads greatly appreciated. Matt
  8. Need a spring for the plunger return. Is the round spring on the left. This spring pushes the plunger out to latch the door. Any leads appreciated Matt
  9. Spent some time tonight to finish up the horns. What a beautiful sound. My wife came running out of the house when she heard it! I have to check the turn signal circuit. Right tries to work and the left does nothing. Probably somethjng crossed. I also have a shorted wire on the hydraulic circuit. When I hooked up the hot wire, it sparked. Fun,fun!
  10. All hydraulic lines are now connected. Finally put the wiper control assembly in. Put top up to install weatherstriping.
  11. When disengaged from park, the pawl only moves a short distance from the gear into which it locks. It does not rotate 90deg away. Could be a little out of adjustment and slightly rubbing as the gears go by
  12. Almost finished. Still a few things left to do, but I can drive her around and enjoy her.
  13. https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/6157513760.html not mine.
  14. Cut off the filler neck assy and junk the rest
  15. My girl has found a new owner. Will finalize the rest of the details next week and then she begins the journey to her new home.
  16. After my 56' slipped out of gear, rolled down the driveway and slammed into my freshly painted 47' convertible, (I was buffing the rear apron 15 min. prior). I followed the procesure in the manual and adjusted mine. Seems to work so far. Matt
  17. Price drop to $6500.00. I have lightly assembled the front end to make it more presentable.
  18. Looks great! Glad you are out enjoying as you work on her!
