  7. I think it may depend on which assembly plant the car was put together. I've seen large series with four sombreros And like Earl B's car , mine has a curved rear rod that returns into the side of the hood. Only sombreros on the front rod (Mine is actually sans sombreros at the moment)

  11. To me, 'kissing doors' refers to four door cars with suicide doors on the front and center hinged doors on the rear. So that when both doors on one side are opened they "kiss"

  17. '55 is not honeycomb radiator '55 is tubular finned radiator
  18. Dexron/Mercon for the steering. If you have DOT3 brake fluid, DOT 3 or DOT 4 is OK But NOT DOT 5 . it's not compatible.
  19. Wow! From reading the info card; the Skylark has been in the museum since 1965 ?
  20. Try asking a local trucking company or grading contractor where they have their radiators repaired
