  4. So true. But, are you ever finished with a restoration? My Roadmaster and I have been on a journey that my Dad started in 1970. Dad and I have had great fun along the way.   6. You're right to call it "Ram" rather than Dodge. They have a Chrysler VIN rather than a Dodge VIN
  7. My daily driver is a 1990 F250 with 5 speed floor shift I had also, 1996 F150 with 5 speed floor shift. And, a '55 F100 with column shift 3 speed.(sold long ago)
  8. Regarding the Power Steering's Power Cylinder for 1955; would a Special (40 series) power cylinder for power steering fit a Roadmaster (70 series) steering box?

  11. in almost every case that is true. And that's why it's cheaper to buy a car already restored, than to spend the money on restoration....
  12. get it running and in safe driving condition first. Then drive it a while before you do the body work.
  13. I remember the days of compiling and exchanging lists at car shows. Then between shows, scouring the used car factories for our parts. then exchanging those parts at subsequent shows. The internet has certainly brought more of the wanted parts into the hands of those needing parts.
