Who is going to July meet in Asheville?

My family will be there. It looks like I might be trailering my Chevy II. Having braking problems and it is looking like some suspension work will be invovled. Looks like I have a bad ball joint.

Mom will be driving her '66 Dodge Coronet 440.

Both cars will be in HPOF, and Dad and I are planning to Judge.

I'll have my red & white '71 Chrysler 300 in DPC & my husband will have his yellow & black '70 300 in HPOF.

Since I'll have to pack up my 'RV' (read that Coleman pop-up tent), I wonder if they'll care if I have to tow it to the show site with my '71 300?!? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />Yeah, I'm backwards-I tow my 'RV' with my show car instead of the other way around <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

West, have you heard Earl play?

Just messing with you Earl. I realize you played that fiddle at the "First" Sentimental Tour, and nobody left for home that first night. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

No, but maybe, if I bring my Packard (cuz it's BIG), I'll bring my son who plays a pretty mean cello, and the two can perform out in the parking lot.

I was goin till I heard Earl was going to "fiddle" again! Seriously, Sue and I will be there with the 12 Triumph M/c and Id play backp-up for Earl's fiddle any time. Gotta get my trumpet out and start practicing. I've heard that someone is going to start an official AACA Marching Band! (Honk Honk)

I cannot resist this thread.

We will be there and I will be at the Library table with raffle tickets for the AACA 2006 raffle.

It would be wonderful if we could set a record on raffle sales at this meet. A beautiful area of our country, lots of happy hobbyists, sounds like some great vehicles (and fiddles) arriving---SO--- let's set a fantastic sales record.

The Pontiac Solstice or the $20,000 would be wonderful to win BUT the best part is that you are supporting the hobby and the organizations that keep this hobby so good for us. Do not forget this money is tax deductible since all three of our AACA organizations are 501 © 3.

If you have not bought your ticket- let's do it NOW and if you have bought one or two; why not increase your odds and buy another (or more).

I arrive on Thursday about noon and will have YOUR ticket with me. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Count me in for one ticket- I'll see you on Friday. </div></div>

That's ok - as the 'offical 50/50 ticket' sales person, I'll lighten Fran's load of cash a bit.... After all, I have to figure out a way to buy a ticket or two myself!! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I'd email Rick Marsh to find out the number of judges as he's the chief judge, but he should be in Asheville already. I'll be pulling my camper up there tomorrow (with my DPC car) since it's cheaper to stay at the campground than to drive a 100+ mile round trip for the next four days.

It's Saturday, after the show & before the meeting. It was really great - rain helf off until after the show. Hotter than 90 yards of you-know-where. Great attendance.

AND< Mr. Earl really DOES play the violin! I even got some video <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> that I may post when I get home!! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Will have some pictures to post later, too.

I am really glad to have met those who came out here. Its so nice to put a face with a name. Was really nice talking to West, and Harvey, and Steve, and and and.... Hope to see all you guys again and soon!
