ramair
I am not well educated on this particular era Oldsmobile, but I do like the car, surprised myself as I am not a fan of brown or beige and yet this car looks great
deac
Nice Oldsmobile with an 8 in it; very cool
kingrudy
Nice looking interior and the two-tone paint sure looks sharp on this car.
neil morse
Looks like a really good deal -- new for 1940 "C" body, shared with Pontiac, Buick, and Cadillac. Same body as my '41 Buick -- very roomy and comfortable. I hope it finds a good home.
rocketraider
Looks like converted to 12v. Would want to examine that closely. Otherwise appears very nice. Hm. Stick. I'd have thought a 1940 Ninety Eight would have gotten a HydraMatic. Guess they weren't pushing it that hard in its first year.
Dave Wells
Looks like a nice sedan in good condition, but it might just disappear altogether on a real foggy/smoggy day.
DrumBob
That's a beautiful car. I'm generally not a fan of beige, but it looks great on this car.
Jim Skelly
I'm guessing it didn't come with the Hydra Matic since it was new technology and was probably an expensive option.

I agree. Is the paint a subtle 2-tone, with the roof being a lighter color? Or is that appearance just the lighting in the picture? The apparent 2-tone makes the car more distinctive in my opinion. Hudsy Wudsy
This particular "beige" color is often called "Champagne". I don't think that it lends itself to this particular two-toning all that well, but it is nice size body and would likely make a nice road car.
