  1. There really is a place called Pahrump? That's as unusual as Soddy Daisy. The red and black steering wheel is really out of place. I like these cars, but that beige is really bland.
  2. OK, if this car is forgery, how was it assembled and from what parts? Wouldn't the builder have to start with Tucker parts? Or, were Tucker-like parts fabricated? I've seen this car for sale before. I had a feeling it was bogus from the start.
  3. That's a beautiful car. I'm generally not a fan of beige, but it looks great on this car.
  4. I don't get the satin black. Was that a factory finish? I've never seen that before. The car looks extremely dull overall. I like '54 Kaisers, but not this one, and for some reason, going to Soddy Daisy, TN for any reason just makes me uneasy.
  5. Other than the incorrect and senseless white vinyl interior, it's a nice Pontiac at a nice price.
  6. I don't like the red either on this car. Would I be correct in assuming this was an amateur repaint?
  7. For sale in Centerville, MA. Looks like a good parts car. Maybe the price is a bit optimistic, but these don't come up very often. It looks like the wooden parts could be saved. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/437290782007239/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks
  8. That's about what I thought. Obviously crazy to put $20K into that car. Unless you have money to burn and have to have THAT car.
  9. That's a real plain jane if I ever saw one. It's downright dull all around. A little body work, paint, and some whitewalls would brighten it up. No idea what the interior needs.
  10. I love there Kaisers, and this one is beautiful. I always liked the styling of these cars.
  11. Beautiful car in every way, but the price is astronomical. isn't it? In US dollars, it's $44,190 right now. Once again, a car so nice, I'd be afraid to drive it! I'm not a fan of brown cars at all, but it looks good on this classic. I'd rather it was red or blue though.
  12. I've always liked these cars for some reason, but maybe $7000 is just too much of an asking price, and he's scaring potential buyers away. Willys cars just aren't in great demand. The car has been for sale since June of last year. Ten months. In my world of musical instrument sales, well kept items seem to only sell right now if they are priced right, which means below market value. Otherwise, gear just sits unsold.
  13. There really is a place called Chilliwack. I just thought it was the name of Canadian hard rock band.
  14. I'm guessing this restoration will certainly exceed the value once the car is completed? Hudson experts?
  15. Beautiful car. Every time I see a sedan delivery like this, I think about how nice it would be to load my drums into it and drive to a gig.
  16. That might be the nicest one extant, so maybe the high price is justified. If I had that car, I'd be afraid to drive it anywhere! It's too nice.
