After my mom died, I was given her Bobcat wagon, which I drove for a while. It ran pretty well most of the time, but the AC conked out at some point. I took it to gigs. One night, some a-hole poured a whole cup of coffee all over it in the parking lot. I was suitably angry, but got it washed next day. I know we sold it soon after, but I don't remember to whom or for what price. $8K seems like a LOT of money for that old firetrap.

1950 Studebaker Champion - $16,000

These are among my favorite cars, but I don't like them in white. Studebaker had a deep red that looked incredible on this body style. -
1952 Chevrolet coupe, not mine.

Crusher. Stick a fork in it and it's done. That car is history. -
1940 Graham Sharknose coupe, not mine.

I adore the styling on these cars. There was one for sale locally a few years ago. I took pictures of it, but they were deleted by accident. I'm a sucker for just about anything Art Deco, and these cars scream Art Deco. -
1954 Mercury Sun Valley - $35,500

That's an awesome car. I think $35.5K is a lot for it though. -
It was Frankie's Auto Parts on Baltimore Pike.

1957 Dodge sweptside $120,000
DrumBob replied to George Smolinski's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
These trucks make no sense to me at all. I guess they were trying to make a gussied up pickup for city slickers, with two tone paint, fins, whitewalls, and a fancy exterior, but the dashboard is bare bones all the way. As mentioned, no horn button either. The price seems ridiculous, but it's probably pretty rare. -

It's actually outside of Gettysburg, I think on Rt. 15. It's a man's name, something like Jack's Auto Salvage, or similar. Google it. It's mostly late model cars, trucks and campers. The old junkers were way out at the end of the property. It was like 30 degrees with a stiff wind. I was freezing out there.

Looks like a '54 Chevy. The owner let me walk around and take pics a few weeks ago. Almost froze by butt off. I like the one sun ray coming through. It was late afternoon.

Ya never know. I already drive a Subaru Outback, which is just about the most practical vehicle for a working drummer. Technically, I shouldn't buy another wagon! It's just the coolness factor of wowing fellow musicians with my hip vintage ride. You're right. No radiator. I wonder what else is missing? That cardboard box might contain a gas tank?
