This is the kind of car that will wreck a marriage. Way too much money needed to make this car presentable chrome, paint, interior, mechanicals and I'm certain that the electrical is original.

Ad says new wiring.  Not every car needs to be restored for car show competition.  Just get in her and drive it and have fun.

At home restoration, like the 6 or 8 going on in town back in the 70s, 80s.  Result could be a great ice cream retrieval, prom delivery, local parade, local show and tour car.  Eligible for any Packard Club event as well.

The nice thing about Jr.s are they are not so valuable as to demand a pro restoration.  This is an up and running coupe and body does look well above average.  Would be great to see an old school hobbyist take it on.

I agree that less is more with this car. Maybe leave the body as is and polish up the bright work. It would be fun to see somebody buy this car for six grand and say their total budget for it would be 10 grand. Figure new tires and make sure the brakes work well, and then do everything else on the cheap and see how pretty of a car you could have with that budget. These coupes have nice lines.

I would just do the minimum necessary and drive it like it is. No need to sink stupid amounts of money into it. Why bother, unless you want to drain your finances and lose your wife in the process.
