B Jake Moran
Very nice. $20,000 might be all the money because it’s a four door.

John_S_in_Penna
It looks like it could be a nice car. Note that the seat fabric is totally incorrect and from a later decade. Maybe someone else can tell if the door panels are correct.

kingrudy
Very clean looking, well maintained car. I even like the color combination, but this car is a bit unusual and may not be a winner for all people IMO.

John_S_in_Penna
It looks like a nice car for someone, and it will be more authentic if the upholstery is corrected. Because of the interior, I think further price adjustment is needed.
m-mman
Not inexpensive when new. A 56 Imperial sedan cost more than a 56 Lincoln convertible.
B Jake Moran
As John notes-they went the cheap route on seat upholstery. For Mopar purists and club members, this is not acceptable for a $18,000 car. I still like the car but to correct the seating with that “Imperial” festooned clothe and leather you are looking at $3,000. So you go up to the seller, serious, and point this out and offer $14,000, and get laughed at. Another market “thing” I have noticed is that everyone is going to Facebook marketplace over Craigslist because, well Facebook marketplace is the latest and greatest but also because Craigslist charges $5 for 30 days now. But ads drop fast on Facebook marketplace and in some cases I never see them again unless I save them. So if saved, and you do a specific search most times it does not come up in my search. But on Craigslist I can punch in a search for 1956 Imperial and this would ALWAYS pop up until the ad expired. So maybe people can’t find it. Interesting to note: At the time this car was sold to Flipper, (8/13), Seller had reduced price to $19,000. Maybe the flipper isn't as knowledgeable as he should be. He is finding out how much people are deducting for an incorrect interior!
The 55er
This Imperial was bid to $17K on Ebay and marked SOLD back on Nov. 6. Don't know what happened but now it's for sale again and BTW it has too many hood ornaments. The 1955 Chrysler bird on top of the hood shouldn't really be there but to each his own. 2
Fossil
I would suspect that the high bidder had no intentions of buying it. I can think of two reasons for that and neither are very ethical. ☹️
