lancemb
It's worth restoring for what it is, but I don't think there's any money to be made in the endeavor...

KAD36
It looks like someone jumped it playing Dukes of Hazzard and that’s where it landed. Boy those are long cars…

I agree. 1958 Limited convertibles were seen as more "glamorous" and quite a few have been restored. It's not unusual to see a Limited convertible; I'd rather see the 2-door hardtop, which is like sighting a rare bird.
Smartin
If it was local, I would probably have it here already. It's tempting...but I have learned the hard way recently that I shouldn't be taking on any major projects for myself.
B Jake Moran
It comes down to price for me and this guys language indicates he wants max dollar. OK. Someone go pay it. What bothers me is it’s present condition. It was dumped there - years ago. And left to rot. Now this seller knows what it is and instead of vetting potential buyers who are motivated to undergo the $150,000 restoration- he wants $7,000 or $10,000 or whatever. We ultimately don’t know the solidity of the body, interior and completeness of the engine bay- but to me it’s a max $4,000 car. Max. Just my opinion but there is a reason this super rare Buick halo car sits in the mud unrestored.

drhach
A car sitting on its frame in Brainerd Minnesota is not a happy place to be. Given that the dash is rusty, I would expect the frame and floor boards to be paper thin.

Probably a low-mileage car, given the lack of wear on driver's seat upholstery, but I'll bet the front suspension is badly rusted and the oil pan may have holes rusted through.
