Xander Wildeisen
These were given to me and I do not know what make/model they are off of? Has to be late 30's. They bolt on, and the hood would latch down on them. Looks like a air intake is built into one of the side panels. Nice condition, if any one needs them let me know. Xander Wildeisen
I looked at pictures of those. Has to be late 30's. Front of fender cuts up high into side panel.

Xander Wildeisen
I saw you at the swap meet. Walked around your Chrysler, you were talking to someone. Then a title and money came out. So I did not want to interrupt you. You could have put a face to the name. But for now, I remain a mystery.😀
JACK M
Interesting, Swear57 was there at that same moment. Edit, I think that I struck the deal earlier, If you saw the cash it was a bit later. Car is gone regardless, YEA !!! Xander Wildeisen
Do not know who Swear57 is? I did see cash, folded in half. Not sure what was going down? I was on a quest for a tail light lens, no time to linger. Walked the track twice to look at both sides. Some shady looking individuals at the track. Spotted this guy there. Thought they might be looking for me.😲
drwatson
These hood sides are tough, they surely don't appear in Jim Maloney's book of American cars 1930-1942. Truck maybe? no luck there either. Unlike most sides of that type, there's no lockdown mechanism, instead, gravity and the hood hold them in place.
Xander Wildeisen
Will clean them up and post more pictures today. They are a tough one. Someone on here has to be able to identify them.

Walt G
Despite being an unknown so far as application, they are really nice looking! would make a really great wall decoration . Xander Wildeisen
They would look good on someone's wall. I have no wall to place them on.😀
auburnseeker
With that hookup for the air intake Something is making me think truck. Of course could be something foreign then all bets are off. Way too many makes. You know you would have a wall if you just learned to grease the sticky wheels at the top and be quiet about it. Nobody likes a rebel that goes against group think. If you have never seen it, watch the movie Hot Fuzz. Free on Tubi right now. I think you will be able to relate to some of it. If you like British humor all the better. Gunsmoke
So you have 2 pair of these? one in black, one in blue/green? I'm going to have to do some looking, they are in great shape, must have come off something not very old at the time.
Xander Wildeisen
Just one pair/set. Must have come off of two different cars. Someone might have lost these, or had them stolen? Hard to ID them, I bet hard to find if you needed them. Maybe one of those stories about a car being pulled from a shop and parts are missing? The Airflow does not have separate hood sides and the Airflow trim tapers down front to rear whereas the items in question do not seem to be tapered. Xander Wildeisen
Found a Plymouth convertible banjo wheel at the swap meet. That is going on the Chrysler. Switch out horn buttons. Not going to try and find a custom imperial banjo wheel.
