TerryB
The rusty dash seems out of place for a Cadillac. Must have had some lousy storage.
suchan
Price seems quite low for a Caddy in the condition shown in the photos. I'm guessing rust bucket, but if body is OK, it's a great deal.
neil morse
Seems like a very good price given all the work that's been done -- the under hood area looks super clean. But it's very odd that someone would devote all that effort to the interior and leave the terrible rusty dash the way it is. Even the dash pad looks new.

But the master cylinder change is interesting Original 56 Cad used Tredle-vac mounted on the core support operated by a long rod that went to the firewall.

Very interesting as i had a 56 some years ago and that power brake setup was a PITA .

I had the same thought, and have to wonder if the decent-looking body may be a "quickie" clean-up, hiding Wisconsin salt-damage. Hard to imagine rusty interior but clean body and undercarriage ? That tells me be there's lots of rust to attend to. The CL ad mentions "some rust". Some is a very vague word. It can be technically solid with lots of bondo hiding bad rust and making it "solid".
