Hans1
I enjoyed this place, several years ago. Visiting from Michigan I was surprised to see it when driving from Austin to Huston for an AOMCI ( antique boat motor meet) in Huston.

Bill Stoneberg
He had quite a collection in his day, but he downsized when he moved to Austin. Now the really good cars that were left went to one of the Big name Auctions about 6 months ago. His kids are selling the rest now to continue funding the foundation he set up. victorialynn2
The pops ups are from the Hill country website which is where I found the link to the auction. It has nothing to do with the auction. Sorry guys.

Which cars were the really good ones that sold? He had so many in Austin, I can’t imagine what else he would have had. What a collector. It makes me sad to see this place closed. Here is a pic of dad there. Edited January 12, 2019 by victorialynn2 (see edit history)
Paul Dobbin
Is this is what's left of Dick Burdick's collection formerly at his home in Rosanky TX? I visited it 30 years ago when Dick hosted a pit Stop on the Great American Race.
SC38dls
VL2 keep the good memories, that’s why we go see these places. Unless, of course you have the $$ to buy that type of collection. Have fun. Dave S Edited January 12, 2019 by SC38DLS (see edit history)
R Walling
While camping in Maine, I met two men that were with their mothers. It was raining, so I suggested going to the local car museum. After a few minutes the men wanted to leave, they said that there were nothing but old cars there!. Their mothers, on the other hand wanted to stay and look at all the cars.
