TerryB
Yes I know this is not an old car but I thought you might enjoy seeing an old looking new car and it's price in a foreign currency. My son was in Thailand for work last week and found this gem and others for sale in the mall. I'm not sure I can count that high! Terry

Digger914
I remember when the bot was worth a nickel and 5 bot got you more bugs than you could eat sober. Does this mean I'm old?, or just feeling nostalgic for a meal that crawls off your plate? 1

Rusty_OToole
When I was a kid $4500 bought you a new Cadillac hardtop, now it might get you a motor scooter or a pony and cart. Cadillac and Lincoln can easily cost $70,000 to $100,000. In other words, if you think 6,500,000 of anything is a lot for a Land Rover just wait a few more years and it will be in dollars instead of baht. SC38dls
Rusty that pony and cart will cost you a lot more than $4500 in the long run. NEVER buy anything that eats while you sleep!
60FlatTop
If international business and ethics intrigue you, try this book: http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-books-20140831-story.html The Factory Man You will never look at waging war, imports, or exports the same again. Wade through the folksy part, there is some meat it there. A friend of mine was doing some project management work in China about ten years ago and wanted to import some US equipment, 75% import tax. 61polara
Thailand has a 300% duty on cars not manufactured there. Only Toyota has an assembly plant there so most every car you see is a Toyota.
