Jesse Logan
Looking for some value info for my 64 wildcat convertible, grandma bought it new. It's not perfect but nice, runs, needs brake and exhaust work. The last time it seen the road was 2010. I did run it to move to a different storage unit this summer. keiser31
You need to post detailed photos and lots of them to determine value.
John_S_in_Penna
Pictures might help us judge it better. One good place on the internet is the website www.hagerty.com. Hagerty is an antique-car insurance company, whose business naturally includes valuing old cars. Valuing a car without pictures is impossible (and not necessarily accurate even with pictures), but Hagerty estimates the value as $7500 in #4 condition and $12,800 in #3 condition. Those conditions are widely used in the hobby and range from #1 (a perfect car according to national show judging--trailered and not driven) to #6 (deteriorated so much that it's useful only for parts). Pete Phillips
How many miles on it? Bucket seats & console or a bench seat? Does it need a new top? Does it need paint? Too many unknowns to give you a decent answer.
Jesse Logan
Buckets/console, top was replaced years ago and is good. Paint is so so

I was wondering what kind of market there is for them. I usually mess with chevy stuff. 1 hour ago, cahartley said: Good luck with whatever you decide. R W Burgess
Thanks Lamar. I did not realize that you were on today. As you have explained so well, there are limits to what can be said on the forums to take away from the enjoyment of our hobby. Wayne
John_S_in_Penna
It's easy to see why people come to us looking for helpful opinions. If any of us had an old Chris Craft boat in our barn, or an old Sevres porcelain plate in our family, we might have no idea of value, and turn to people in those specialized fields for assistance. Jesse, there are a good bunch of men and women in AACA! Edited January 6, 2018 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
