Looks like on a later chassis. One like this several years ago in San Marcos. Perhaps same one. 1 1/2 ton cab on a 1 ton 60's chassis. Inline six. Owner was running a truck tire " come to you " service. Neat and well done. And inexpensive. Ben
JACK M
Love that hearse. I suppose it needs a roof rack in case they get more than one customer.

Fleetwood Meadow
I’ve heard of houses having pocket doors but this really amazed me. Were Kaiser and Darrin separate companies at one point? Ozstatman
Mentioning the Model T Taxi. Saw it again last Sunday, it was in the shed of a collector who hosts a car display day every year. Not "in the street'' photos but there were some interesting cars present.

Ozstatman
Seen this one before, about a couple of years ago, but this morning was parked in Bong Bong St, the "main drag" of Bowral. From memory, when speaking with the owner back then, it was originally "about" a '33 Chrysler. I'm hoping Keiser will know for sure, although the body mods might be a bit off putting. keiser31
That hood and split screen and cab may be Chrysler. Maybe 1933. The rest is totally custom. Edited August 8, 2018 by keiser31 (see edit history)

Ozstatman
Yesterday in the street behind mine was this jacked up 65/66 XP Falcon Sedan. Looks like it's ready for a "Bash". This "Bash" is starting in a couple of days. The Falcon could be an entrant in it? Also saw a '64 Fairlane recently, similarly outfitted, but not quick enough with the camera.

This Falcon looks like it may have tried out for a starring role in the "Ghostbusters" movie. Cheers, Grog

Cheers, Grog Grog, Yes it's a road rally usually in conjunction with a charity, raising funds through sponsorships, donations, auctions and fines. These events have been running in Australia for well over 30 years. In the post above there's a link you can click on.

Ozstatman
Another one today, not by chance this time, was this mid 70's Ford XB GT Hardtop Coupe. Driven 800kms to pick up some Packard parts I'd gathered together for the Ford's owner. Aussie "Muscle Car" with 351 Cleveland V8 & 4 on the floor. The Mad Max "Interceptor" is based on one of these. Ozstatman
Flea market at Moss Vale today was also the destination of a charity truck convoy at the adjoining showground. In anticapation of the trucks arriving there were a number of old cars already in residence with more to come. Photos are of an early '50's FJ holden.
